Nice job bro. That grill looks real killer, big visual upgrade for the S3. Tiny tip in case you ever need to replace the 4-rings, use 1 hand to support the grill from the back when pushing in the rings wit the other. Newton's Law, force equals opposite force. You nearly broke the grill pushing it in... LOL. By the way, love your speed-up clips with the music, you are really getting a Pro at this YT stuff.

I kept my foam on my bumper support. But i feel that puts grill further in front of radar… i cut radar mount top tabs down as close to mounting hole to where it was into the holes. Re used factory bolt with extra washer. Radar will be mis-aligned at that point but centered in hole. Wonder if s3 and rs3 use same part number radar bracket.

mine wouldnt have fit the the foam.. or it woulda mashed my grill. thanks for the ACC tips.. ill be thinking about what (if anything) im gonna do this over the week..

It looks fantastic. I posted this in the last video comments section but this guy, from Europe I believe , installed the ACC relocation bracket and it fixed the misalignment. To fool the car, into thinking it never moved, he disconnected the battery prior to touching ACC. Maybe that will work as a lasting solution? Here’s video: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/rtl7h8ud06zXlYk.html

Did the foam come off easy? When I installed mine and considered removing the grill it started breaking apart. I'm wondering if the previous owner of mine glued it or something. I plan on removing it and painting the crash bar as well

Are you having any trouble with the sensors up front ? Mine keeps on tripping out, But I feel like it could be the fitment on both sensors as if the rubber piece doesn't go all the way through.

no issues on my sensors. make sure they are clicked in all the way maybe.

I'm having all kinds of issue with my ACC. After a few months with the relocation I got a "ACC Restricted" error. I had it at the dealer for warranty stuff earlier this week and asked them to calibrate it and they told me it wouldn't work and now I have a "Presense Malfunction". Awesome!

fuck dude, i spent 10 mins trying to find it. searched both my ebay and amazon back months, i can't find it. it was just basic vinyl ebay stickers

prob this. www.ebay.com/itm/204487380855, ill go check if mine are 2", 2.5", or 2.75" tall. WHOA HOLD... my letters are about 1" tall... so you need real small decal.

Just ordered the grille. Also missing the backplate. Where did you find yours to order? The emblem was shipped separately. Did it come with that second shipment?

@@LastHumansGarage thanks for the reply! would you also say that the radar would definitely not fit with the grille if you just used the bracket without the spacers? I just saw that my stock bracket is just like yours, where it wouldn't bring the radar back if I replaced it with the bracket. No website/forum does it say that we need anything other than the bracket...I've been trying to look everywhere for more info. Your video is the only video that goes in depth about it. Appreciate your help and thank you so much for the content!

@@dumbkkid you might be right for all i know.. maybe i did it wrong. but without changing ANYTHING, i could not get my RS3 grill to press on fully. The best way is to not to touch the radar at all.. IF your grill fits.. i am paying $400 to fix my radar this week. I have told no one. I don't mess w those grills anymore..

i think the ones without the wide bottom fit fine... but the wide bottom ones have less room for radar..
