Seems tuned. Has cts turbo inlet and cold air intake which a commonly used for tunes that require more air than the OEM air box. Perhaps even a chargepipe by the looks of it. Also sounds like a catless or highflow downpipe which emphasizes the sound. Also 5.13 second 0-60 without launching is quicker than typical. Possibly was a stage 2 car. Great noise, nice test drive

Thanks for the highway pulls. I was comparing this my tuned BMW 330i (350 hp). By the numbers my 330i is faster 60-100mph 5.4 seconds VS the 60-100mph in 6.5 seconds , but you make it clear noting, "the mid-range response is very strong" @ 8:12. I know that 'response', is different than just acceleration times - from what I've gathered the power in S4 is very immediate (super low lag and great pedal response), through the range (especially mid range, like you said), which probably makes it a blast to drive. Even though my car is faster, I still want an S4 though - in stock form, they are very impressive cars.

Where did you get 6.5s 60-100mph? A stock S4 has tons of lag off the dig... and the response is good, but not very fast. The M340i has a much faster response.

If its tuned, its just the ECU. The RPM redline is still reading 6500. Most trans tunes will bump the redline up to around 7200. Stock numbers on the 2018 S4 are around 4.4 - 4.5 0-60, so I would say its probably stage 1. My 2018 A6 Comp is single pulley stage 2 tunes with a trans tune and I'm running around 3.7 - 3.8 0-60 on 93 pump gas.

seems tuned at least somewhat. its definitely quicker than a stock b9 S4

For sure! It most definitely is. It is at least 0.5 seconds faster than a typical stock. I don't know if that's just because of the bolt-ons or the exhaust, or an added tune. I am sure I could have gotten into the high 3s range with good gas and a perfect launch.

@@DMCarReviews The B9 S4 has a Twin Scroll-Single Turbo. The TIP (Turbo Inlet Pipe) is the one you touched and called it an intake. 4:32 The coupler you touched and called a Turbo Inlet Pipe, is actually an upgraded Intercooler piping, which is connected to the throttle body.
