Maintenance is as normal, more work to change oil and stuff due to underbelly pan but overall pretty good and solid.

Rock solid as long as you replace the plugs and change the oil. 10k is not good enough when pushing a car wheel beyond its factory spec.

My 19 s4 has been great so far. Bought with 13k miles now have 31k. Commute a 100 miles 5 days a week. Oil change every 5k miles

Age has a little bit to do with it. What I mean is, I too, am not a fan of pops and bangs, or crackles, etc.. Then again, I'm well into my 50s

Nope that's stock turbo. Very doable. 034 or IE tuned on E85

450whp is the limit on stock turbo. But, every dyno reads different, and a dyno sheet is worthless on a track. So i guess you could say, on average its 450whp stage 2 E85 with stock turbo. To break 600+whp, you need a hybrid turbo, and who knows what full frame builds will bring once companies start producing forged internals for the EA839. 1,000+whp builds will be happening soon.

True it is quite easy to squeeze the extra hp out with OTS parts but bear in mind it is 450 wheel so crank is much higher and 350 stock is crank.
