Make sure you have a 7/16 Allen Socket on hand, prior to starting this project. That particular size is harder to come by than you would think!!!

Easiest brakes I've done.

Oh, looks like that's the first super wide shot video on the channel. No more wasted space on the sides of my phone screen 😊

Honestly though, is the video better? I started shooting in 4k. It looks crisper to me but didn't realize it was so much wider.

you didn't bleed the brake line. you don't have to do that on the new models ?
@MountPleasantFarmMD24 күн бұрын
@@MrBigmike2987 I never broke the integrity of the brake system so no, you never have to bleed the brakes when just changing pads. I only took the cap off of the master cylinder because when you compress the piston in the caliper some fluid goes back into the master cylinder and you don't want to make it more difficult. The only time you should ever have to bleed brakes is if you open a brake line to either remove the caliper or another brake component.

@MountPleasantFarmMD ok, I just didn't know if these newer model cars required it anymore

@@MrBigmike2987 no problem and thanks for watching. Yes even on the new cars you have to bleed if you break integrity.

Why take the calipers all the way off, just leave in the bottom bolt and tilt them down.
@MountPleasantFarmMD3 ай бұрын
I normally do that but these don't like to do it because of the retaining clips.
