doesn't want to scan OBD Dodge ram 2018 and up Chrysler using 12 + 8 harness

Mine is 18 ram 5500 I did the same it didn’t work. It still says this truck has security gateway code.

Yes it's 12 + 8 harness Chrysler

After connecting the 12 pin and 8 pin harness....Then do I connect the other end to my OBDII scanner?

Yes. Mine didn't work though. Got the same error message.
