I love how he honestly reviews the unit. I agree, that the sliding sunroof cover should have been a thicker mesh. Otherwise this car is a steal for its price

metallic film material glass tint might help reduce the heat radiation from the panoramic roof.

6:14-6:15 that was a bump or a pit road?and I want to know if you felt that on which level did you felt it from 1 to 10.I want to buy a SUV and I think this is the best buy option

We have the same color. At the time all they had was a blue in the showroom. I saw this color in the car's info flier. I said I want this color and the salesperson "oh , sir , we have to order that. I said, "ok".

Probably going to buy this car. I have a choise a 1.6 engine vs 1.4 turbo engine will it make a lot of difference? 1.6 is cheaper and second hand but the red design in the cockpit is kinda ugly in my opinion

Same thoughts here with regards to the sunroof. The cover is just like window blinds. But GLX owners are recommending to put a darker tint on the sunroof to compensate for the heat.

I did the same with our Vitara GLX, we installed Super black tint on the sunroof and now its much more cooler in the cabin.

Never understand why people need sunroofs in bright, sunny countries. My GLX doesn't have one(in Spain) and its fine, with black glass to reduce the insolation.

The Kona just seems like a better choice. Yes it doesn't have a huge sunroof but that's just a fancy gimmick. Yes both have acres of plastic in the cabin but the Kona at least succeeds in not feeling as low rent as the Vitara. At the end of the day though, I think it's a close race between the Vitara and the Kona. Forget the Juke, Trax and Ecosport.

Hi Sir, price wise probably it will be close. But, with regards to PMS costs korean cars tends to be overwhelmingly pricey and will put on hold on you with their 5 year warranty.

The downside of kona vs vitara is the infotainment. Kona have no paddle shifters.

How come the Philippines gets a 10 inch touchscreen, whereas the rest of the world has to make do with a pretty outdated 7-inch model, that is also pretty slow and unresponsive? Suzuki should really have updated this for the new facelift model, instead the old, small touchscreen remains. I just don't get why, it can't cost more than 50 USD to upgrade to the better model.

You are saying that there’s not a manual transmission version for the vitara, but in fact I bought a manual one, a GLX 2018 model which is the all grip one

The Vitara IS NOT a Crossover It's a SUV as it's built with a body on frame and not a unibody.

Vitara is a good car. However, I regret buying this, because it is equipped with a spare tire with different rim size. I just wonder how unsafe it is to drive with a different rim size in case you have a flat tire. I already complained this, but I don't accept the reason on the customer care that said spare tire is to remind the driver that you a have a pierced tire. I don't know why the Japanese technicians of Suzuki is different from the Toyota technicians in terms of safety.

Allan Co same thoughts here. The interior door panels feel really cheap. Budget meal through and thorough that starkly contrasts with the huge sunroof that you normally find in more expensive vehicles only. The sunroof screams HIGH END but one glance at the door panels makes the high end pretensions all come crashing down.

I owned one, it does not when ac is on. However if you leave your car park unshaded it will really get more heat compared to a no sunroof car.

Ernie Pasaporte marketing department wants a sunroof, accounting department says OK but only with a cheap thin cloth to keep costs down. Suzuki CEO says OK and this is what we get.

@strawberry_shortcake4life I didn't apply any. 2 summers past pero it's not an issue even mid afternoons both driver and back passengers side, just don't open the shade. I usually leave ac on auto climate though and my variant is glx. If you have budget or if tint comes free why not.
