thanks for posting this video i just picked up a 2021 white on red a spec model and i ordered those same leds and wasnt sure how to get to the turn signal bulbs

I've gotta install a flash module for the 3rd brake light on the hatch. Any ideas where I can access the wires leading to the 3rd brake light?

Makin it like it should’ve come from the factory... don’t know why they put LEDs everywhere except for the rear signals...

Exactly. Just to save what? A few bucks? Ironically, the rear turn signals on the Honda CRV are LED! Honda-Acura makes no sense lol

I decided to replace with OEM bulb this time around , but the dealer was asking $40 usd per bulb .

Did you end up getting a warning light on the dash? I want to convert my 2017 MDX turn signals to led but people keep telling me even if i get one with a built in resistor imma get a warning light on the dash. Let me know pls

No lights at all. I had them on my 08 TL Type S and no warning lights either. No Hyper flash neither.

I bought one led from lumes and the patterns are hyper flash

Hi John and all RDX owners, until now, how are your cars doing with the led rear signals upgrade? Any hyperflashing, CAN error codes, and police fix it tickets for being too bright? Any issues with melting plug harness or tail light housings?

Hey! Mine are absolutely perfect still, Great output still…no hyper flash or anything. I’m in New Jersey, I think cops here mainly go after the all white rear blinkers. No issues.

@@JayTheNomad Thanks Jay! I installed mine a couple weeks ago. so far its good although i havent driven at night yet. next ptojects for my RDX are hyperdipping emblems and installing spare tire kit. would be nice if there was a collapsible spare compatible for the RDX.

@@alexistheghostman Seriously Acura really dropped the ball with the spare tire kit. Also with the emblems, it’s like $400 just for all the letters and aspec badges 😩 Next up for me is Eibach lowering springs and Ktuner

I was afraid I was gonna ruin the light assembly - it didn’t slide out as easily as I imagined it should. Looks like you wiggled it a bit to get it out. I may retry.

Aight - i just went out and did it. Lord, I’d hate to be the car behind me at night. I don’t know how long I’ll keep them in!

Yes just a little, nothing too major. It pops right out. Honestly, the easiest tail light bulb change I’ve ever done. Especially if it’s a new model cause it still has that factory tightness. Much needed upgrade and at night, the LEDS light up the entire block and all the street signs but not too obnoxious because the bulbs have the built in resistors

what size did you get? BA15S, BAU15S OR 7440?

Nervous to so do this due to Sylvania not manufacturing their version of LED. Kinda a red flag there. You will never see it anyway might as well just leave it alone.
