Welcome back to TheDriveGuyde where I have the keys to 2019 BMW X5 xDrive50i! This is the 4th generation, the G05, with the 4.4L V8 engine. This car was handed off to me for a couple days by BMW Gallery, the dealership is located in the Northwest Auto Mall!

I approached the Dilawri Group and asked if I could produce videos of their vehicles for my channel. They liked my honesty and structure of my reviews. I have created this video for my channel and the dealership is sharing them on their social media platforms too. They have no creative control and do not edit these videos. I create, edit and produce these videos exactly how I create, edit and produce my other reviews from the manufacturers.

Honestly to me this is the vehicle the 5 series used to be. Before they started putting four cylinder 2 liter turbos in 5 series, they came with base naturally aspirated straight six and optional go fast V8. Same is true with X5 now. All luxury interior and this is the best luxury two row sporty SUV out there. I stay safe with tried and true base six. BMW has issues with oil burning and turbos running hot in their eight cylinders. This is the executive luxury BMW to own.

You can still get a V8 with the 5 series without going for the M5. With that being said I did test drive a 5 series and an X5 recently. Honestly I just preferred the X5.

Hey, long-time subscriber and viewer here. Great review as always, you definitely make some great reviews and mix great camera work with relevant content. One thing I would like to point out however, is that all your reviews are the same. Don't take it badly your doing great work, but if you really want your channel to take off, I believe you should take advantage of beautiful Alberta and mix up the content a little bit, like going on an adventure or going to the track or something, just to mix it up a little bit! Cheers from Montreal and continue the great work!

Can you review the 2019 Porsche Cayenne ? And compare the x5 against it? I hate the rear tail lights, what about the reliability? Previous models have had lots of issues
