Here is the video of me upgrading my fork to the new charger 2.1 and debonair. It went pretty smoothly and was not that difficult. As usual any questions hit me up in the comments!

I must admit, I'm super jealous of that ParkTool stand haha I cheaped out on my stand and I regret that heavily. Nice video man!

Glad you enjoyed the video! And if I am to be entirely honest with you I was sick to my stomach when I bought this stand over its price.... But, after having it for 2 years now it is definitely worth the price! But it is definitely a little pricey!

4:12 that face tho...😂😂 I have debonair springs in my fork and shock and it’s by far so much better than the normal rockshox springs. I’ve ridden both now and they are incredibly smooth and they feel better than stock to me. Hopefully I’m not the only one who thinks this😂

I was definitely surprised how that went! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I am definitely stoked to get it out on the trail when I can!

Agreed, I’m fighting with wiggle about my 2021 Big Wig, lost by fedex in Memphis. Shudda just enjoyed my eccentric evo29. Great bikes

Do you think the upgrade was worth it? Very good video btw!

Glad you enjoyed the video! I realy do think it was! Small bump compliance and over all feel is just better. Kind of hard to explain but it does feel better.

Thanks for sharing your video. Any idea what type of future maintenance is required on the upper damper side since it has no more oil? I would assume just seals and new SRAM butter.
@chickensendies3 жыл бұрын
Of course and hopefully you found the video useful! From my understanding the bladder itself should be good but exactly as you mentioned! Seals and butter should be it!

Ohh I thought you bought the Charger 2.1 RC2 damper unit. The RCT3 "only" has the 2 real "open"ish high speed compression settings open and pedal.. Firm is almost closed... the RC2 just has 5 settings from open to highly damped.. If you run the damper open anyways it should feel like the rc2. :) For low speed compression it has the same 19 clicks.. It is a bit cheaper to buy than the RC2 though.. So I guess you have a 2021 Pike "almost" Ultimate now :P Difference between the Revelation and the Pike: The Revelation has the lower end damper and is the base Fork, Pike has a better damper from the select+ to rct3 and rc2 on top. Revelation only comes with the normal select/ motion control damper.. Stanchions and so on is identical. Same with Yari/Lyrik with Yari being the base model, while the Lyrik has better damper choice (Rct3, rc2...)

All great info, Sprousa and thank you for commenting all that!!!! But, yep! Rockshox Revelation "almost" ultimate 🤣🤣🤣🤣
@sprousaTM3 жыл бұрын
@@chickensendies Haha yeah. I am pretty sure as I said that it should feel like an ultimate when riding on open setting. I like it open all the way as well as it feels really plushy. Not as crazy plushy as a Fox36 with Grip2 damper but hell that fork costs a fortune for not that big of a difference.. RockShox all the way! :)

@@sprousaTM Yep! I am a bang for buck kind of guy and am very happy with this purchase. I am very excited to get it out on the trails...... when the trails decide to be rideable!

Hi man was it worth it? What is the main difference you feel riding?
@chickensendies2 жыл бұрын
Hey, Jeremy! I definitely noticed a small bump compliance benefit and it just feels more "plush". Definitely not a necessary upgrade but if you have the extra cash definitely go for it!
@jerryx20002 жыл бұрын
@@chickensendies lol nice answer. I will save my money as I already have the B1 debonair in my Yari.

How many km before you need a service and can I do the service by myself?
@chickensendies3 жыл бұрын
Rockshox actually recommends every 50 hours of riding to change the oil and cleaning or replacing the seals. It really is not too difficult in my opinion and I am sure you could do it!
