That Oil Cooled engine has no Fins..... Its for the first time I am seeing this....just imagine the efficiency of that cooler and the technology..... People Will Always complain....

Only true Gixxer fans would find the GSX-R 1000 design elements in the headlamp. By far this is the best and most desirable bike from Suzuki India. As a GS150R owner I would vouch for the reliability and build quality of a Suzuki with my eyes closed.

Dominar 400 would be a better choice but it's a Japanese Bike and the feeling of riding a Japanese bike is just so different.

Charging a hefty premium for build quality for no frill bike!!! no slipper clutch, console looks very basic & performance seams closer to RS200 than DUKE 250.. STILL a welcome step for Indian customers from Suzuki !!!! Gone are the days when we used to have just CBR 250 in performance category from Japanese bike makers....

Great review Rishaad 👌 So the bike does have vibes in the footpegs above 7000rpm.. just like the FZ/Fazer25.. but mostly smooth both of them.. Both have quirky designs (Fazer n SF) esp in the front.. bulbous n not so useful full fairing to cut air.. The SF250 does 153 on the meter in the 6th gear at the rev limiter which is about 143kmph true.. The Fazer does 145 on the meter in the limit which is 136 true.. So a top speed of 7kmph advantage.. Acceleration wise SF250 shud be about a sec/ 1.5 sec faster to 100.. But wud lack the low end punch/ drive ability of the Fazer25.. SF250 claimed fuel efficiency of 38.5kmpl while the Fazer25 is 43kmpl.. So advantage Yamaha.. Chassis n suspension seem firmer on SF250 for cornering but again the footpeg cornering clearance is better on the Fazer! Finally price wise SF250 - 1.71 lacs ex showroom vs 1.44 lacs for Fazer25! I think overall both are as good as each other if not better..

The problem with bajaj dominar is that it is a dominar, and although its a very good rideable bike for cornering fun, it has really poor refinement and vibrations in the older gens were bad.

Did anyone have heating issues? I am facing a lot of heat on the right side especially. My grill also got melted. Checked with service centre and everything is fine. Checked with the tool they use for hayabusa. The temperature remained between 127C to 141C. Even the fan is working fine. But still I am feeling heat after just 5 mins of starting the bike. The bike goes to 150C+ after idling for 12mins.Please help

Still why should you consider a CBR 250R over dominar/ or any other bike comes in the same price bracket even though CBR's design is decade old. CBR is bulid like a tank. Bullet proof engine which is vib free too. I have never seen a CBR broke down due to overheating/ coolent / rim break issues. Breaking on CBR is reassuring (nissin callipers). I think the price of CBR is not overpriced since you getting a well engineered and reliable product. People in India not looking for reliability moreover they tend to buy a power to money ratio product😐. To sum up Gixxer SF 250 is great product with great pricing for its rivals and this is one of the bike you should consider over dominar since it's from well engineered product and this can be use as spots tourer also.

Instead of overpriced Gixxer you go for Apache 1604V smooth and refined engine I also own Gixxer but I purchased in the year 2015 but in the present date I would not suggest you to spend 1,20,000 for Gixxer instead you want mileage and power go for Apache 1604V or if u are concerned for power then close ur eyes and go for Apache 2004V or Yamaha FZ250

If you had seen the gixxer sf from other countries this will be a disappointment. I personally didnt like the design. That silver colour is too boring . They should have gone with the foreign design with blacked out lights and faring.
