Earlier this week, we took delivery of the all-new 2019 Suzuki RM-Z250 and headed out to Cahuilla Creek MX to conduct our "First Impression" test with TWMX test rider Mike Sleeter.

Great review, and I love the cinematic clips! Ive always ridden a stiffer bike and hate hearing everyone complain about the new stiffer springs in the 2019. I want oooone!!

Ty Nagle all light weights need to bulk up and hold onto it properly

I know some people will say Suzuki's are unreliable but sometimes that has to do more with the owner than the bike itself. Owning a dirtbike is a responsibility, along with regular maintenance and care.

Can’t wait to buy one, my 2014 RMZ has little over 250hrs (all original). I’ve been waiting on this bike for years. I will admit I’ve been riding other brands and I do like the Honda, minus the engine.

damn that exhaust sounds good though!
@chadkennedy5295 жыл бұрын
It looks the best that's for sure, but let's be honest for any amateur racer this bike is competitive. If you're at any serious level of competition you're going to mod the bike to your needs and standards..and that goes for all the makes. Yes you get better factory components on European bikes but you also pay 1800 to 2 grand more.
@jakewaggoner41965 жыл бұрын
Agreed. So many people forget about this. Unfortunate because there are a handful of great manufactures and you just need to find what works best for your needs. Not what some local Cali boy says.
@ErikKrahl5 жыл бұрын
I'd argue though that especially for a beginner it is easier to handle a lighter bike. E-Starters help a lot as soon as you race as well, and thats something you cannot mod yourself.
@jakewaggoner41965 жыл бұрын
@@ErikKrahl On paper I agree but look at the new Honda and what people say about it. It's heavier on paper but people state that it feels lighter and more nimble out on the track. E start I agree, you can't disagree how much that helps. A flamed out 4t is hard to start with the kick starter. I think it's more important to be comfortable as a rider. I think this and overall out the door cost (plus any needed mods) is a good determining factor when buying a bike.
@tdel86135 жыл бұрын
Just looking at the leftover 18 450 zook selling for 5800 at the dealership. These will be an even better deal, so much modding can be had for less than a brand new eu bike
@thegt3clickcrash3295 жыл бұрын
@@tdel8613 definitely. Really the biggest complaint with the 18 Rmz 450 is that funky rear shock they put on. And no e-start but that's something that could be overcome. I still ride a 2012 rmz 450 and I love the bike, it just feels right to me. Had a chance to ride my friends KTM 250 sxf and although it was a very impressive bike I just didn't like the feel of it. If Suzuki had put an e start on the new bikes I think it would have gotten better reviews from some of the riding mags.

This would be a great bike for my slow ass ! I switched from Honda to Suzuki a few years ago , love the Zuk. Only time it feels heavy is when you gotta put it back on the stand. I've never been comfortable so quickly as I was with the Suzuki.
@Mxrider92i5 жыл бұрын
Dang that bike looks good ! If it still corners as good as the previous ones and is still one of the cheapest I might get one !

Bike looks like a Suzuki. Like the single exhaust. Handling. However I would personally p/up steering stabilizer with the zook. To many broken ribs from previous zooks. Looks like decent product.

The poor Suzuki is the bike that gets sent out to get coffee for all the other bikes
@petersouthernboy63275 жыл бұрын
Jason Naughton - I see an awful lot of Suzuki RMZ’s in the amateur ranks and on the trails. Lots.
@stevestiffler91205 жыл бұрын
Your gonna see some more of these, . Suzuki really stepped up to try to get their amatuer program back on top, plus this bike Effin hauls ass
@vevohoeyo5 жыл бұрын
And I just sold my 2018 sx450f ktm with just 20 hours on the clock cause it felt like a out of balance boat anchor. Be buying one of these! Suzuki might be a heavier bike but damn they feel a mile better to ride than most of the other brands. You can keep your coffee too that's for pussys
@stevestiffler91205 жыл бұрын
Sleeter is on the ktm payroll so he’s gonna downplay everything. I had a chance to put a few hours on one yesterday and let me tell you,,, she fuckin rips. Why do they have a paid KTM test rider giving an opinion on a suzuki? No biased there. Listen to that bike saang
@SMLChase5 жыл бұрын
Creflo Dollar Sleeter has not been with KTM for nearly a year, in fact his current bike of choice is a KX450F. Get your facts right before you talk trash bud.
