Good review, a toss up really. The Rover looks a little more luxurious while the Jaguar looks more sporty to me.

just bought f-pace...they seem to be more reliable and the 3.0 supercharged kicks ass....but the range is slightly prettier, but not $14000 worth !! and the f-pace is pretty enough too. one is built to be a 'drivers car' and one is built for 'comfort'.....u pays your money and takes your choice...!!!

I still like the Jaguar

I own the velar. Love the ride and features. I get plenty of oohs and aaahs from my friends. But I HATE the the double screens. I feel that they don’t work well with each other and jam up, making it unusable when driving! My son was a product specialist for jaguar and Land Rover. He told me to ask the dealer before I bought if they fixed the kinks from the problems. Dealer said they had but my car was in the shop after three months. In one year I have had it in four times. My friend that owns two hse sports says the same thing with double screen troubles. My suggestion is to skip the Velar model with that or get the Jaguar. Both are made from the same manufacturer so that’s why they are so similar. I may be moving to bmw or Lexus.

I love the Velar p380. When I do a build on the website between p340 and p380, many of the options I HAVE to have are part of the p380. And that vintage tan leather??!!! only on p380...Rumor has it, they have updated the infotainment for 2021 due to all the issues. Any idea of when the 2021 is coming out? Dealers are silent.

Range Rover 👍. As stated, the aesthetics are top shelf. I’m currently in the Velar and there is nothing not to like. Hopefully, I’ll have an opportunity to drive the Jag soon as well. The additional power and engine sounds like its in the Audi S neighborhood which is enticing. But cannot go wrong with the Velar, and nothing beats the Land Rover family off-road (which of course many will never use lol :). Range Rover wins the Valet parking pinnace competition hands down.

Thanks for the vid, I was contemplating both options but the Velar seems to win in almost every category for me except price and an ounce of power. The alternate interior colors (especially red) looked hideous on the jag though 😂
