It's really close, but it's going to be Holland. Spinning kicks are always dope, but it's unbelievable to generate that kind of power from your back. It's never been seen before.

Just saying the other knockouts were against proven elites. Jacare and Rafael who were both finished by Cody and Kevin have cracked the top 3 of their division. So the knockouts to me are even more impressive

Only about a quarter of the crowd would be capable of seeing it and half them would have missed due to not paying attention or drunk. They would react as to seeing the spotage. But the real reaction from the crowd is when they show the replay back on the big screens. Live fights are overrated

KO from a submissive position, as well doing it to a legit legend. Trailblazer for sure guys. I know that kick was flashy...but it’s a kick. It will happen again and probably on the next card. Won’t be as flashy...but it will happen. On the other hand...I can see some fighters getting hurt trying to emulate what Kevin did.

Buckley’s KO is something you’ll probably never see again. Holland’s is brutal, Garbrandt’s punch is lightning fast but Buckley’s is still the most impressive

You will see it again. Fighters will drill that now that they have seen another take the risk trying it, and it paying off. It really inly happened because Impa held onto the caught kick like a rookie. That strike happening is completely dependent on your opponent making a mistake.

@@bennyblanco4696 As is landing literally any technique ever. You won't even land a jab if your opponent doesn't screw up a little bit. That wasn't really even where the mistake was, since from the way he was moving in he was likely expecting something like a wheel kick or spinning backfist out of that. He was trying to bait a move out of his opponent. His mistake was in misreading his opponent and walking straight into a back kick.

I watched that live and I remember Sean 1'malley was on the same card and had his own ko against his opponent. Afterwards, Splenda Sean No'milly was bitchin about how he thought his ko was better than Gardbrandt's...glad to see that the better ko is getting it's deserved attention.

I agree. For me also that it was unexpected. Usually people think the guy who catches the kick has the advantage. Buckley proved that wrong in spectacular fashion and it will probably revolutionize MMA defense when catching an opponent's kick. Nobody else wants that "Buckley Move," I'm sure lol.

To be honest, Kevin's KO was when you finally stand up to the guy who has been bullying you for the last 4 years but you grew. 4 years of pent up emotion released at once.

Ha that reminds me of a story. This kid constantly got bullied by this dude named Alex. Now keep in mind that this kid was a bit overweight and average height while Alex was slim and kinda tall for his age. Anyways, Alex tackles this kid in the cafe because this kid allegedly accidentally spit on his girlfriend. He gets tackled and Alex is just throwing punches on a defenseless kid. Then the kid just throws a perfectly timed punch that sets Alex back. Then he just gets on him and starts throwing multiple punches pinning him down. Beautiful example of karma and that’s what this reminded me of. All jokes aside, that knockout was shocking. Totally thought Kevin was in trouble in the ground.

The only thing that he doesn't have going for him is that the other two fighters finished top tier opponents which is harder to do... Buckley got K0d by Kevin by Holland... and the other two knockouts were against Top 10 opponents as Buckley only fights bums..

Buckley's Ninja master spinning back kick was unreal and gets my vote!!! How do ya get any momentum into that one??? And his precision facial placement landing was flawless, too!!! Wow!!!!!!!! Using his opponents catch of his 1st kick as a push of point to jump and land that spinner was truly astounding!!! No one, least of all his opponent, saw that happening that fast! All KO's super powerful, great contenders, especially the last one in this clip from the pinned position, that's got serious power and accurate delivery on a whole new level, too!!!

Cody KO is not that special, just surprising with bell-ring. Buckley KO is - difficult (even elite fighter like GSP, Conor has trouble doing spinning kick) - risky (miss, and you taken down. lose position) - perfect accuracy needed (the opponent has guard up from the side)

@@fraanko11 It depends. In MMA a lot of fighters reach their prime around 32-33. At 28, and even 30, you still have room to improve if you have the potential. Masvidal reached his prime in 2019, he was 35 ; Adesanya is 30 and still improving ; and I’m not even talking about DC and Romero who were at their prime around 38.

Buckley's kick has this involved: he's in the "controlled" position, he has to move in the opposite direction of the strike,he strikes his head with his only point of support, and the concept is super rare,super fast and on a 4D level. You've never seen anything like it, but it might start being more common. Like once in a lifetime.

temporal perception is relative. If you understood and were fully honed in to a kick like this, it could be perceived for the relative duration of 10 secs. That last one was amazing. He knocked him out with the first punch thrown from the bottom. Notice the guy sat there in guard with his hands up lazily defending. He was acting on instinct because he was already out. Then he got blasted again and it showed how far gone he already was. Insane.
