The problems with the track do you know if the riders followed the guide lines for tightening the track, because they call for the track too be retarded tight but they have done lots of R and D on this and it shows you loose track speed with a loose track! I have ran mine too the factory specs and rarely ratchet and that's with a turbo!

One thing you will learn about Chris is the guy is a straight business man! Some companies advertise on tv and others through ambassadors. He will say anything to get people to buy stuff to put money in his pocket. Nothing wrong with that, he’s got a family to feed just like the rest of us. However it makes it a little confusing when you are looking to him for sled advice. I must say he definitely has some great advice to give tho. Hit or miss, can be contradicting sometimes. And for 2020-2021 their whole crew is riding 163-165 khaos’. Snowest forums are a good place to check, some of the advice on there can be a little bias tho but at least you get people telling you how they feel about the topic, rather than pushing a product for financial gain. Polaris definitely has some catching up to do, short tunnel, more power and other misc. upgrades. As with any company, they try to run with a design or model as long as they can. Like the Polaris ice scratchers for example, what a joke... seriously. No factory tether on sled that comes clutched for the mountains? Like why? And then sell them for $50-$90 as an accessory. It’s not a big deal but why can’t that just be done at the factory and figured into the purchase price? They make the changes as slow as they can to try to ride out the model they have for as long as they can. Same with any other company out there. So no hate on Polaris. That’s just the name of the game.

@@havardfremstad564 not very much clearly. the chaos is more nimble because the limiter strap is further out and there is more weight transfer to the track. the rmk is better for chutes and climbing because the limiter is tighter resulting in more ski pressure. my question is basically what holds a steeper side hill? greater ski pressure or greater track pressure

If you’re talking just purely what would hold a steeper side hill the answer would be the Pro.
