The warlocks with the hood vents is one of the coolest trucks I’ve seen

nice video , I own a 2019 Warlock STL and i drove the big horn as well . Both trucks are great , here are the minus & plus from both trucks ; The big Horn , yes the slow opening tail gate is a nice thing to have , the rear power window is good too and the start push button , the door panels are better quality in the big horn as well . The Warlock ; seats are combination fabrique and vinyl , I like them better , sound system came with 9 speakers and a subwoofer , awesome , all the windows are tinted , Led lights in the cargo space , bigger gas tank you can drive 150 km more then with the big horn , folding side mirrors , sport hood , My Walock turns heads .......Big Horn is just another pick up truck . Warlock all the way

You basically took a bare bones Warlock and tried to make it look like a piece of crap lol. My 2019 Warlock has 10x the stuff that big Horn has.

Just bought warlock in black with the sport hood and the truck is ridiculous. Have been stopped in parking lots by folks asking about it or telling me they love it. Honestly could care less about the door panels been softer 🤷‍♂️. Truck was 46k and after rebates and discount came to about 32-33k. Value proposition is enormous.

I actually just bought the warlock and it’s a awesome truck. It does suck I don’t have all the extra features but love how smooth it drove compared to the big horn

I have the 3.6 warlock n my interior is more like the big horn had heated wheel n seats same camera same seats n mine warlock does have a 3rd seat in the front it's more like the big horn. Love the truck

I want all the nice stuff on the inside, but nothing can beat the look of the warlock! I dont find my self looking at new rams, just dont have that nice rugged look anymore.

The video could’ve ended at the :12 second mark. No comparison. BigHorn over the over priced, very bare bones, yawn fest Warlock. No way should the Warlock be over $30-32 thousand.

hmm I just picked up a new Warlark quad cab 5.7 hemi, with bed lighting and lining and tri fold cover, 8.4 with nav, sun roof, remote start, protection plates, 32 gal tank, antispin axle, tube side steps, power real window and rear widow heating ,towing,garage opener, heated seats and steering wheel,block heater, leather wrapped wheel, max steel color and pretty much every option from what I can tell for 34,500 yesterday.. I do like the new Rebel though but the deal I got on the Warlark just can't be beat from what I can see.. so many discounts and if you lease them you get more I guess. Dealer said he sold 30 in the last two weeks here.. Mine had a window sticker at one time for 48k and .MSRP of over 50k so maybe they are just trying to get rid of them?

I would definitely go for a more optioned out warlock. I would also definitely go with a crew cab one with the 17’s and all terrains. To be honest that warlock does not do justice on them. They can be much nicer. Only thing that one has going is the HEMI and the 4x4 but even then it’s not a tow package so u don’t have 4x4 auto.

Ram vids= views..👍 although I think a bighorn classic against a bighorn new body style would have been a better comparison..you can get the warlocks decked out also with heated seats, and power folding mirrors ect, there is a difference in quility materials I'd agree with that , but all the same features are available on both trucks, find a warlock thats the same price as the bighorn and I think you find some of the same accessories on it.. so I'm not sure it's a fair comparison , it's a Ram Vid though, so ill still like it .🙂

Not comparing apples to apples. My new Warlock has premium cloth seats, heated seats and steering wheel, power sunroof and power back window. LED in the bed etc...

Very very difficult to find a bull bar or a grill guard for the Warlock. Had to have a custom bull bar made

Ben, I was wondering if you could answer a question for me? I bought a new Warlock in 2020. And I have buying trying to buy aftermarket parts. Do you call a Warlock a 1500 new body style or a Classic?

I have a 2022 Bighorn quad cab. The rear door panels are hard plastic as opposed to the crew cab's, additionally, there is no under seat storage area like the 4th gen has. So not everything is better with the new one!

I prefer the warlock hands down .. drove them both ... i got every option available except sunroof on the 2021 warlock crew cab in red pearl for 48K Canadian ...sticker price was 68K ... much cheaper and more reliable from what ive been reading and for me looks much better .

Warlock all the way! Paid 29k brand new. Don’t really care for all that fancy shit on the big horn. Plus really like that there is no chrome on the warlock. Looks better.

I am a bit disappointed that there wasn’t a more comparable trim line for the Warlock shown. Our interior has the premium cloth seats, fold flat floor, large centre console, LED bed lights. Maybe it’s a Canadian thing but all our Warlocks (2019 at least) have the same interior as the Big Horn. It’s literally the 2016 Rebel exterior with the Big Horn interior. Honestly I would have passed on this Warlock as well. However our Ram 1500 Sport has the exact interior as that Warlock with the cheaper fit and finish. I’m wondering if it is a regional thing. We don’t have the bench front seats in the Warlocks up here (that I’ve seen and I do review cars and trucks, mainly for special need families) but that’s the typical interior for the Sport which I believe may be only in Canada

Does the warlock come in a crew cab??

I’ve been looking at both these trucks and apples to apples you can find crew cabs 4x4 and the msrp is the same. 50k to 55k. The warlock should be 5k less but it’s not.

I just purchased a 2020 Big Horn and no way I was paying 56k for it i paid 33,700 with bumper to bumper for 100k miles. I did use your video to help make a choice. Much appreciated

I don't understand stand how you are comparing these trucks to each other they are two different body styles. The warlock is a DS body and the bighorn is a DT body. There are Bighorns that have more options. Try comparing two trucks that are on the same platform.

Debating between these 2 trucks. Big Horn has 0%apr and thats the only reason I'd want it over the Warlock

Warlock to me looks like someone took a stock 1500 and put a bunch of AutoZone parts on it.

Using a bare bones Warlock for this comparison is ridiculous. Get one that is loaded and you will have a fair comparison. This video is a fail.

The Warlock fob design is terrible. It looks way too easy to hit the panic button. I love the sound of the Hemi. But yeah, Big Horn clearly outclassed the Warlock in fit and finish. $5000 doesn't seem like too much to improve the quality of the materials. Great review, Ben!

Would have been better to compare a better version of the warlock. Compared u get more bang for buck in the warlock. The warlock on this comparison is rather basic

Your review is flawed, The comparison is between the classic and mid size trucks like The Ford Ranger or Chevy Colorado. If you get the v6 Ram with the 8 speed transmission on the Classic you will notice that the gas mileage is similar to the Ford Ranger or Chevy Colorado. At a reduced price from the new Ram makes it more price competitive to The Ford Ranger or Chevy Colorado. So the argument might be, why buy a smaller truck if you can get the same gas mileage out of a full size with more choices in configuration in the full size category? Of course the new Ram is going to be an upgrade from the classic. It's going to have a larger price tag too.

I test drove both the Warlock and the Big Horn last week. I honestly liked the Warlock better until I drove it on the highway. Way more road/wind noise and the ride over expansion joints made the entire truck shutter. Plus the center armrest shuttered the entire time I was on the highway. But at about 8k less than the Big Horn, I probably will go with the Warlock because of significantly better discounts.

You can't compare a Warlock with a Bighorn. Obviously the Bighorn is going to have better features all they around. That's how the Bighorn is supposed to be, better! You could've compared the Warlock to a trim that's lesser in value.
