remember, the Warlock, Express, and the Tradesman are classic style, what you can get on the Warlock, you can get on the other 2 (self install). As i have been piecing together my 2022 Tradesman, most items are simple bolt on. it will take me about a year to get all that i want on truck. only 41k financed instead of 60K.

I didn’t realize that they updated the interior so significantly on the Warlock. I have a 2015 bighorn. I almost got a new bighorn, but I couldn’t justify it. They tried to sell me a warlock, but I really couldn’t justify that. I only 75k miles on my bighorn and 25k left on my extended warranty.

I’ve recently purchased the 2022 Warlock quad cab and I’ve had the express before both in the Pentastar V6 the Warlock package is the luxury and sun zero package and it’s such a beautiful truck. I tow an atv and lite 35000 pound trailer hauls it no problem

Bought the warlock as my first truck. I regret not buying a superior warlock for 3k more, unfortunately the seller did not explained all the differences and some basic stuff were missing like fog lights and hooks. Also I did not noticed but the expensive one had keyless entry. Anyway, I'm loving the truck and how it drives. For people that can't afford a 65k, 70k, truck (canada) it's a very good option. My plan is to tow in the future and hope it works fine. Good to remember the tires limit your payload to 1180. At least the wrangler s/a one.

The DT and DS platforms along with the "packages" are confusing. I had a 2013 Express and was shocked to find that you could get the Sport options (projector lamps, performance hood, and 8-speed transmission. Really, these models are ala cart buckets meaning you aren't guaranteed some of these options. For example, my 2019 Warlock SLT doesn't have the non-functional performance hood or the puddle lamps for the side mirrors. You aren't promised any of these options unless you tick the boxes at the dealership.

Biggest difference, the Warlock has waaaaaay too much plastic on the exterior which makes it look cheap.

You are showing some options like the signal on the mirrors that are not necessarily available on all Warlocks just because they are Warlocks. Another thing that they could likely come with if they have the towing option is a back-up camera. The bed lighting is not "standard" either. My '21 Warlock doesn't have the fold down arm rest/cup holder in the back seat. And there is also a storage bin under the fold up base rear seat. There was a RAM truck that came out a little before the Warlock (second coming) was released called the Hydro Blue Sport, and the reason I bring it up, is the Warlock is based on the Sport. I have tried getting some replacement parts (like RAM grille letters to get them blacked out), and the regular letters from the dealer are not the same grille design.

We bought a 2023 night edition and its got built in navigation? Did they start including after 21 i wonder, we actually have a few options you said werent available. I sure woulda liked those upgraded inside door panels tho, ours feel and look so cheap. Maybe a swap is in order, i wonder hmmmmm

The only thing I Don't like about the RAM Warlock is the plastic looking front. Mainly because I am looking at buying a Black RAM. When you look at the Warlock most are a different colour to the front, so it's not as noticable ?? When I saw the Warlock in all Black ??? It didn't look good ??? My first thoughts were to possibly buy a RAM Express until I went to my local dealer to compare the different models. A few other Annoying things start showing up when we buy a RAM in my country ? Right Hand Drive. NO Audio controls on the steering wheel on either model ??? This might not be such a big deal IF it was 1985 ??? With the conversion to Right Hand Drive the Volume control is about 1 metre away from the Driver ??? ( because of NO Audio Controls on the Steering Wheel ????? ) All of the features on the RAM Warlock I can definitely live without. Except for 1 item would be nice to have ? Leather wrapped steering wheel, this would be good to have on a RAM Express. We seem to get a fair few extras included in the RAM's that are not included in your models. What I can live without IF I buy a RAM Express ?? LED Tail-lights ( nice to have but not important ) Power rear window ( I prefer a full back window ) Leather inserts on the door liners ( I never noticed until it's pointed out ) Halogen Headlights. ( are good until you need to replace them ) 25mm / 1 inch lift ( I would buy a Ford Raptor IF I want to go off road ) The Rims on the Express look better than the Warlock Rims. Power mirrors ( we get power mirrors on our RAM Express ) Keyless Start is included with our model RAM Warlock ( I prefer a Key to start my car ) Plastic fender guards. ( they do look good on the Warlock ) I have seen a few Red RAM Warlocks and they do look GOOD. But, RED paint is BAD for Fading ??? Still a bit annoyed about the lack of controls on the steering wheel. It's 2023, and we are well past the point of having these simple things included on a modern vehicle ???

Ram will either kill the warlock in 2022, or customers will. The classic line only offer two of the four engine options. We almost bought one this year, but want the 3.0 (not available on the warlock) for the 30+ mpg hwy. In the next few months, maybe sooner Ram is releasing the Backcountry built on the bighorn. Starting out at 40k which is the cost of a warlock with just the hemi upgrade. The backcountry being built on the bighorn means it'll be on the new ram, not the old like the warlock and express (classic). The Backcountry comes with buckets, bed group package, ect ect free unlike the warlock/express. Which actually makes the Backcountry thousands cheaper with the options. Plus new vs old ram build

I’d rather go with the Classic Night Edition. Visually, it looks better in my opinion. Sadly I can’t get it since it’s Canada exclusive. Not fair tbh.

Hang on why would the 3.55 geared V6 truck have almost 3000lb more towing capacity over the 3.21 but the 3.92 geared V6 drops it a couple hundred pounds, how does that make any sense? Is maybe the 3.92 gear only available on say a rebel 4x4 and the bigger tires actually drops the towing capacity due to effectively creating a longer gear ratio? Gotta clarify here. Also the hemi trucks only jump up about 1000lbs going from 3.21 to 3.92, why such a large jump on the V6 3.21 to 3.55. Its a minimal gear change. A 3.21 geared 4x4 hemi truck has almost the same towing capacity as a V6 with 3.55 gears? Something just ain't making sense here people! Lol (Wish Dodge had offered the 3.55 gear in the hemi trucks, would been the perfect in between gear for them, sure miss the old days when you had the option of 3.08, 3.31/3.42, 3.73 and 4.10....dont forget the special order 4.56 gear! And never mind the manual trans!! Woop woop!)

I think you got your towing specs wrong here. You possibly were quoting 2wd figures. For those trucks specifically it's gonna be about 9k for 3.92 gear and close to 8k for 3.21 gear. I bought that literal exact same blue ram there and we had to upgrade to the 3.92 to be able to tow our just over 8k lb camper, the 3.21 geared truck wouldn't be rated for it. Confirmed the build spec sheets at dealer on this. Just so nobody gets the wrong idea here and thinks they are gonna be able to tow a 10k pound trailer with their 4x4 ram half ton! Going to have to move to a Ford if you wanna tow 10k and want a half ton 4x4. New body style rams are significantly up on towing capabilities tho....price too!

My guess without viewing....the cheaper one is better. I'm bias...I just bought a crew black 2019 2x 5.7 warlock, 3 weeks ago. If u pick the high gear ratio...say goodbye to your mileage and top end. Btw..ur info is all misleading ... all those special warlock features are options.... they are not part of base. No power seats, no leather steering, no upgraded entertainment system..and 4x4 is not standard, neither is anti slip. Bench seating is also standard, bucket is an option. (And is only an advantage if u want more storage space... cause the rotary selector is the only option in all cases.) and the sport hood?... pure cosmetic...non functional...so really, pointless.

Obviously, a truck for a teenager. Not a real work truck.
