The Škoda Octavia, Renault Captur, the Ford Kuga and Audi Q7 all performed well in different size categories. The Peugeot 2008 shares the same platform with other models of the PSA Group, such as the second generation DS 3 Crossback and the Opel Corsa of which ratings were released earlier this year. Like the DS 3, the Peugeot 2008 offers an optional “Safety Plus” pack on all variants, that adds a radar sensor alongside the standard camera and gives the car enhanced AEB capabilities. Subaru’s new Forester also performed well all-round, showing off its family car credentials by scoring particularly well in child occupant protection. The Forester completes an all five-star line-up for the Japanese manufacturer.

I hope the problem has been fixed that in a frontal collision the side airbags did not work????

Maybe the airbag deploys on the side where the seat belt has been deployed !

This is a little bit useless because crashing in a wall at 64km/h it's like two cars having frontal crash at 32km/h, but what happens when two cars crash at 80km/h?

Well, people die. But usually people brake before the crash, so it's reasonable to expect slower speeds

Very unsatatisfactory. The curtain airbag not opening on the frontal collision - temporal bone of the skull, the thinnest, is left unprotected. Very bad for 2020!

Just guessing, maybe there is some sort of detection of height on the seat. For instance to avoid triggering it when there is a child in a cradle and the driver forgets to turn the airbag off.
