2020 WP XACT Pro suspension tested: How good is the new SuperTrax?

5 жыл бұрынWP has reinvented its top-line aftermarket suspension with the new 2020 XACT Pro range, including the new Supertrax shock and new spring fork fitted with cone valve technology.
But how good is the new kit and does having a shock with adjustable high and low speed rebound damping as well as compression damping just make it more complicated fore the average rider?
MotoHead's chief tester Dave Willet is joined by up-and-coming youth rider Jack Grayshon to put the new suspension through its paces on a range of 2020 bikes. The KTM 250SX two-stroke, 450SXF four-stroke and Husqvarna FC250 are thrashed on the rough Fatcat circuit.

Nice explanation of all the functions. Would be nice to order a bike with the option to upgrade to this set-up.

Im not a huge WP fan, but this seems like some very well thought out suspension.

In the UK the forks are £2756 and shock £1973.

I just got the shock it was $2650 US... forks are around $3500

@@zachpark7854 Just asking some general questions because I'm looking into another KTM for my next bike. Do you like the air forks? If you don't like the air forks, do you think its worth it to upgrade to a spring setup? If you buy a 10 thousand dollar bike, and have to put another couple thousand into it just to get comfortable on it, would you still prefer the KTM knowing you can buy a Jap bike that comes stock with plush and comfortable spring suspension? Thank you.
