I found BB on a whim on the psp rom black market, gotta say I've never had so much fun learning how to play a mechanic/tech rich game like BB before.

Is this game still popular? I've been playing BBCTB and everyone seems to hate it.

@@indigo_sirgaming Unfortunately, it's been out for over 12 years so it's more of a Discord fighter these days. But you can still find people to play in Discord and lobbies at certain hours of the day!

yeah its beautiful 2D fighting game the sprite and the animation look good but its kinda underrated

Literally the only thing it's missing is higher frame count with its animation, the choreography of the animations is frankly the best I've ever seen in any fighting game. The only reason why I got into the game at all was because I saw how amazing Susanoo's 6B animation was. I'm dead serious

DBFZ looks better though.

@@PridedWaif i said 2D tho... DBFZ it's not even their own motor engine, it's from Guilty Gear Xrd which is 3D and uses it too for Grandblue Fantasy, and DDFF. For a "3D looking like 2D" now is Strive who's looking better But while we still talking about 2D, BBCF still has it top But to don't sound like an attack response, I would just say that they managed to make DBFZ gameplay to look like if it were something that you could see in an episode of their show, which is cool

@@lolilikedragons3528 Not only that there seems to be an official netcode update also in the works as a beta branch in the steam files keeps getting updated repeatedly recently, similar to plus r before it had a netcode update

This is way too true. Especially that auto combos are in every game too than technical and stylish. People that enjoy a game will stay and keep playing. They'll learn the game despite how many losses. I'm always happy to watch high level in this game since other games don't hit that itch. MBTL is still in it's infant stage but I'm looking forward to that game evolving. It may have auto combos but it has that BB itch I like.

Name one major fighting game that released within the last five years that doesn't have some type of depth/tech to it. I think you're exaggerating just a bit much.

They all have objectively been simplied and made accessible, while sacrificing depth,fun factor,and character and playe expression. Strive is a good example of that.Melty Blood and SF6 maybe exceptions.

But everyone knows ES is bullshit...her normals are some of the biggest and safest in the game. It ridiculous how you can just slam your face on the controller and still hot someone with es.

Ragna isn't low tier and Nine has gotten nerfed in CF 2, and is now only high tier,and not top tier any more.

Commentators aren't here to be unbiased and if you came into the FGC expecting that you're lost. It's one of the most opinionated communities around and especially in a local tournament like this, people are gonna have scene favourites. These guys were also fucking awesome.

@@TKVirusman is good to know that your experience wasn't messed with. And these are really the only guys I've seen so far act like this sort of more than others.
