That was a fun ride, Waheed. Delicious powerband! This bike is fast(italics)! I can appreciate you saying it the way you see it. Thanks for all the information about this bike. I live vicariously through your videos. Only mild response to this video is the hair style. Slightly mediocre. Looking forward to the next vid, Adam, and keep the rubber side down (at least one hoop at a time). Thanks.

There's a theory that Adam's hair style corresponds to the bike's horsepower: More horsepower equals crazier hair.

I really dig the new design of the bodywork on all the new Aprilia bikes, but I do wish the RSV4 Factory kept the stock Akrapovic the previous model had. That's one of the things that make me glad I did not wait for this new model and bought the last year's. I also thought the increased displacement was to maintain the power with the added stuff due to Euro 5. I guess it does help with torque, too. At any rate, great review as always. I lost track long ago of the number of times I watched the review of the 2019's model. :)

How about a fuel gage, or miles till empty gage or something. On mine, I only get a warning light when it's close to empty, and depending on where I'm at (elevation, road conditions, etc..) I have to try to figure out, if I have 5 miles left to empty or 15 (If I catch it early on a ride, I can feather the throttle to get 20).

I’m glad companies are realizing that there are riders taller than 5’10” that like sport bikes, but at my height I still can’t make it work for me. I miss the days we had a lot of options for sport tourers that focused more on sport than touring. I’m anxious to see the new Tuono. Why do so many of modern super bikes and naked bikes get such poor mpg? I get that they ramped up the horsepower, but it seems the ZX-14R gets better mileage than most of these newer bikes.

I test rode a 2018 rsv4 tuono at a demo day and once we got on the highway the whole group vanished ahead of me like rockets. Gave the throttle a whack and was the fastest if ever been on two wheels. Hit 120 mph like it was nothing and leaned all the way over in a bend on the highway just cutting through the wind.

Nice thorough review & a heck of a machine but too much of everything for me right now. Interesting that every review I've seen would opt for the base model. Looks like Aprilia may've shot themselves in the foot a little bit. You could buy the base model & put the forged Factory wheels on or even get carbon Wheels & still save big bucks.

I'd say Aprilia. I never liked the sound of the R1 with a stock pipe. With Akra, it's a whole other story, though. The new RSV4 1100 does not have the stock Akra, though. Bit of a shame, although I guess it would've been even more expensive if it had.

If Aprilia would spend 1/10th of the time it puts into "innovative ride modes" towards actually building a real DEALER NETWORK I'd be a lot more impressed. I live in an area that has one of the highest concentrations of motorcycle registrations in the US. Except for an Aprilia owners' get-together, I have seen a total of two Aprilias. On the curvy road part of the review, why lug the motor so much? Being an rsv4 owner, I found it really odd that you bring the motor down to 2-3k and then slam the throttle open transitioning out of the corners... Not doing the bike, motor or riding experience any favours. It's so much smoother in the higher rpm.
