The spark doesn’t replace the sonic. In the states the spark is sold alongside the Sonic. It’s sad that the Sonic doesn’t have higher sales because it’s a great car especially in hatchback form. Also Chevy has a habit of putting less detailed driver information centers in the lower trims. This is probably the upper trim level shown. They do this on pretty much all of their vehicles.

What type of gas does it take what brand of gas

In canada, approx 30% of the price of gas is taxes :(

Its been four nonths, but if you haven't, go for it. I have one. I used to have a jeep commander, and a jeep compass. Two big suvs. I now have a spark and i couldnt be happier

Rob, is that for real? That's 51mpg! I'm looking for a replacement for my 2004 Honda Civic 5sp MT where I'm still getting at least 40mpg in 2022. This sounds like a no-brainer then!

Same with my 2014 Mitsubishi mirage. It is advertised to consume 5.3L/ 100km city 4.4L/ 100km hwy and a combined 4.9L per 100km driven. I've been averaging 6.2 liters of fuel per 100km driven mixed city hwy. I've always been light on acceleration and when crusing on main roads around the speeds of 60 - 70 km, the rpm is consistently around 1500 - 1700 rpm and on hwy driving at the speed 110 km, it's around 2500rpm. Im needing to fill up every 480 - 500 km driven while the advertisement shows it can be taken to 700km driven. I wonder if we can make a law suit on the matter.

my mazda 6 gets about the same and i fill it ever 3 days

@@Pinkielover A fair amount of fuel goes to harder than needed acceleration and heavy braking which people typically do these days. Have some patience and it will reward you in more ways than one. Good luck..

Well, in my opinion the 4 cylinder barely has enough power as is. I live in the mountains though so that probably explains why. A 3 cylinder would be very hard to live with probably in my mountainous state and would probably get worse gas mileage due to constantly having to be revved high to go up mountains. Wouldn’t be as bad in flatter places though.

Franklins Crib yeah, my Spark is a 4 cylinder and it seems to struggle on hills. Most cars seem to struggle on some of our mountains though.

@@weatheronthe8s895 Lol Those who don't know how to drive well would have trouble. A fair amount of people easily get by with a 3 cylinder. I take my mirage up 26% grade moutains with no trouble. Come again mate?

Elevation effects it a lot central wva I got 36.6 on the highway and average in southern Ohio 37.8 to 38.8

Eh, better off with a Toyota or Mitsubishi that will do better than 60 mpg. Just my opinion though. Extra horsepower doesn't mean much in the grand scheme.
