I just traded in my 2017 Pilot and bought the 2021. It happened yesterday, so I'm still bewildered by the instrument panel. Two huge features missing on the 2021, for me, was the fact that there is no compass on this model and no right side camera....two features I loved on my 2017. In fact, I now have buyer's remorse. I would not have purchased this Honda if I had known these features were dropped.

Hey Justin! We bought the 2021 Black Edition - Is there a way to leave the vehicle running but lock it? To like run into the store or something? We’ve tried everything and it just won’t allow us to do so. Also, I can only open the back tailgate if I have the fab in my hand (both with the leg kick and the button) - vehicle is fully unlocked - but tailgate will not open until I press the button on the drivers door. ????

Please STOP calling the high-beam "brights". It's probably exactly because of this perpetuated sheer ignorance that some "bright" drivers use the "brights" at night (even during day time), falsely believing that they improve visibility. While it's true that some cars (including Honda Pilot) use both, low-beam and high-beam bulbs when high-beam light is enabled (effectively doubling the amount of light), the high-beams are intended to be EXCLUSIVELY used when NO other car is coming from the opposite direction and NOT in urban (high-traffic) conditions. In some states / provinces, failing to switch back from high-beam to low-beam is punishable by law. Because the high-beams are intended to illuminate the road further ahead (not brighter!!!), they are only perceived as brighter because they do blind the driver(s) coming from the opposite direction. Typically, both high-beam AND low-beam OEM bulbs have the exact same power (50-55 Watt). The only difference is the headlights optics. Furthermore, when it either rains or snows heavily, the high-beams have the opposite effect because the light projected up high is reflected from the water droplets back to the driver and it creates a light "curtain" which effectively blinds the driver. So, only use the high-beams as they were intended. Brighter is a myth!!!
