Just took delivery of one of these and I can say it’s absolutely brilliant. I only use electric round as it’s quick enough without petrol and when I use the electric up it goes to petrol. It also covers the quarter mile in 12.7 secs which beats most hot hatches including the M140i

Only improvement I welcome is the E-63 hood in the front. Lights design more unique in the older version.

That’s the one I ordered last week. Same color both outside and inside. But I choose the hybrid diesel.

Hi Ivan, hope u doin well n keeping safe in this terrible time we find ourselves in with covid 19 etc. I love your videos n content. My names Abdul n I'm from Cape Town South Africa, I'm looking to get E Class AMG E63s, not the new 1 though. I just Love the shape of the 2014 - 2016 I think W212 if I'm not mistaken. You are the professional, so what do u think of this model that I'm looking at getting, what are the pros n cons of this model. I heard it's one the best if not THEE BEST series of E class and That was from a Mercedes Benz sales person, but I don't know if I can take his word, maybe it's just sales talk. So that's y I'm asking for your professional advice with regards to the 2016 W212 E63s AMG. Thanks Buddy and may u keep going from strength to strength.

I got the diamond grill AMG C class salanite grey with saddle brown upholstery , when completely new E class comes in 2023 , l would have that most probably AMG version may be grey colour

Its not an A class you can clearly see the the 2 bulbs. Plus E models are better than the A classes. You get a better interior, more tech, more space, and better ride. I think one of the non amg models does 0-60 in like 4.8 or 4.7 which is really nice

Yes they can charge from the engine during regen braking, or if you select charge mode.

Great review thanks. Why MB offer a car this large with such small wheels is shocking, A Class have these wheels they look fine, C Class they look a bit wrong, E Class they look terrible, only helped here by night edition colours, in the standard colour they are not at all good. Such a shame as the rest of the car is very handsome.

Didar I assume you can afford the E63. For the rest of us I appreciate that Mercedes only makes subtle changes between the AMG models.

@@richardc6843 your assumption makes no sense, the rest of the people don't wish Mercedes makes subtle changes between the low end models and pure AMG models. There's a point you pay £70k+ for a 63 model vs a £30k amg line. The whole point is to differentiate one from another both internally and externally. The only people who want them both to look the same are the one's who can't afford the 63 models and want everything for nothing.

I feel like the e class Is dying, the best one was the W212 (2014) Facelift model, It looks so much more bulky and agressive, like a real E class should. The S classe's smaller brother, not baby brother..

W212 is still the eye candy, by distinguishing itself from C class, S class, and the latest A class. W212 has a nicer boot layout as well, unlike W213, curved opening which hinders large luggage, even though the space is similar.
