After subscribing here i started investing, closed my monthly RD and moved to SIP

First of all congratulations for achieving this milestone Vijay Sir!! I have learnt the following financials aspects from the video series. 1. Business Cycle - The companies will go through financial cycle which is part and parcel of the game. It really made sense about the market and allowed me to invest with some confidence. 2. Don't be over smart - Yes. Time and time again we try to be over smart about the market and role the dice which will end up as an experiment and dampen the portfolio. 3. Peer pressure - No need to think or worry about what your peers are doing in their life for example purchasing flats, cars.. Focus on your own strategy of investments and don't have to impress any one. I wish you lots of success in the new year. The video series is going to help lot of tamil people in the future. I always advocate for this kind of financial awareness from schooling itself and not sure why it's not encouraged. Finally thanks for your suggestion to watch 1992 scam web series and it was a wonderful and learnt a lot and importantly what could happen if someone craves for more money. No one can beat index consistently 3. dont wait for market correction, keep investing regularly. if market gets corrected invest a bit more 4. delay gratifications 5. investments should be based on facts, should not be driven by emotions 6. gambling in stock market is not an investment 7. market takes the money from people who are very active (in market) and gives it to those who are patient 8. financial freedom is not meant for retirement alone.
