Hi sir,,I'm working in Indian army, And new to market,I have bought 25shares of TATA motors at Rs378 then again 25at 412 then again I bought 25shares when it was 490,now the avg price is 426Rs,,Am I doing it right sir is it good buying stocks at avg,,,plz clear my dout sir,,,I'm thinking to get more stocks,,hope u I'll clear my doubt and help me,,

@@arundaniel2525 Buying one single stock is a huge concentrated risk. I do not recommend anyone to buy individual stocks when they are are new to the market. It is better to stick to an index fund. Watch "Stocks Portfolio" episode to see my recommendations.

Excellent videos. I wish it could have been there in my 30’s. Can you please do a talk about these two subjects. One is what to do when there is a huge market crash, like using it to our advantage for example your thoughts on shifting from regular IRA to Roth etc and next topic on what kind of help is available financially when someone loses their job, like unemployment benefits and how to handle existing loans like mortgage, car insurance, health insurance etc. Kudos for the excellent work

You are absolutely right... as per report 99% of traders are loosing money, all traders consider them as they will be in the top 1% but end up in the opposite side. To succeed in investment and trading we need more psychological knowledge than a technical knowledge..

Hi Sir, why are ETFs in India shown as "Regular" plans rather than "Direct". I always that thought Regular is expensive than direct. So are these ETF's more expensive than their direct mutual fund counterparts? For majority of the ETF's could not find the expense ratio even in the AMC's website.

Though I couldn't understand in depth, I could feel that I'm entering and merging with the flow of your river over the period of time..One side, I feel like it's too early to think about finances. Personally, I wouldn't worry about it. As long as we are going for a well established fund, then we are fine.

I have this long pending doubt if u can clarify. What happens if im investing in Index from 25 years till 50 years of my age. Suddenly when i want to retire and market crashing. I may think i have 50x for retirement but actual reality on my retirement day could be only 10x due to market crash. Hw to handle this kind of situation and the back up plans plz.

U should not first have single source income , make sure have multiple like equity,debt,gold,land and cash . Also while before 5 years of retirement start reducing equity exposure by taking amount from equity slowly to debt or cash . Backups has to lot like debt or gold or cash or pension amount or last option like that get food from son during retirement if none of above options there that too if ur lucky that ur son is care of you.

Sir Myself new to share market trading studied some basics and purchased after considering Dividend and book value invested in SAIL, NTPC, PFC, GAIL, POWER GRID, NLC,COAL INDIA, IOCL, BPCL for long term investment Purchased initial 10 Shares in each and max 30 shares each depending on cost. And also have plan to purchase every dip is it right way sir or I need to study more??? My total investment now 55000 and showing 4000 as Loss. Please guide me.

If you are asking me, that means you are not ready for individual stocks yet. You are better off with an Index fund. Watch "Stocks Portfolio" episode for my recommendation.
