Thanks for the great video nice job of comparing these great machines.I,ve used swt skidoo,s for years love them new platform looks good 40 lbs less and better gearing now.

Im actually glad I found a video comparing the 2, where I go sometime is -50 is skandic is said to start easier in harsher cold. While the expedition they made it sound like its made to go through plain snow where there's no trail. Happy to see both options are for me :)

by far the best video of the skandic i have seen. on a side note, with as bad as my 600 2 stoke is shoe horned in the sled i wouldnt even want to imagine how bad a 3 cylinder 4 stroke would be

You nailed it! Bought ace900t and 600r but had to go with polaris evo for daughter due to nothing available in for teens

We jus had a ice fish derby where im from yesterday for a 900 ace skandic wt,,,, im so disappointed i did not catch a fish. But i doo own a 2022 tundra 600efi LT,, i love it,, i really wanted that 900ace skandic

I wonder how the Skandic Sport would compare with it’s lighter weight and shorter lug of 1.25 in. and different transmission.

Anyone else hear the engine stumbles in the 600 e-tec at 4:05? Almost sounds like a slight misfire on 1 cylinder for a second or two

The Skandic 900 is what I want...but there are none for sale in the United States. Not in Alaska or any other state that I can find. Call BRP and they don't seem to communicate with dealers about when they might be for sale again. Bottom line is everyone has advertisements up for them but nobody has them and nobody knows when they will have them.

any trail riders put the expedition though its paces in trail miles? Seams like a machine that might be a jack of all trades, maybe not master of trails but it cant be that bad?

You see, snow compresses under his feet/body when he jumped in. That wet heavy snow, as he said and you can tell by looking, would be denser and not allow him to sink to the ground. I’m not saying there was or wasn’t 4’, however there was much more than the depth on his body that you’re referring to
