Those 520 chains stretch fast on liter bikes. I went back to 530 once i figured that out.

Not if you buy a good chain, if you cheap out on a crap one they do, 520 D.I.D ZVM-X will stretch less than factory 525 chain

I have a 2022 CBR 1000rr I guess I need the ECU flashed I didn't know it wasn't getting the power even when it was full throttle

I think that's the best looking new supersport bike. The torque curve is awesome, that's the perfect motor for me. That bike will get you in trouble, you'll be accelerating quicker than you think you are haha

Yes I am waiting to see Chris work his magic on a RRR. I would upgrade my 600 to RRR And have my RRR tuned by Chris in a heartbeat. My ECU is on its way to Chris for my 600 can’t wait to get it back and hear the pops and bangs

Chris, I have a ‘22 SC77 like the one you dyno’ed with similar mods too, nice tune. Heads up though the cover photo on this video is the SC82 RR-R (tubular subframe, exposed engine bolt, aero cuts, etc). People are getting their panties in a bunch over it. 🤣

Very good Video, Chris, keep up the excellent work and video-editing! I have a 2017 european CBR1000RR Typ SC77 which is flashed an has got tremendous torque and power gains. Did you check the ram air channels - as far as I have seen the US-CBRs have a significant reduction in the cross section of these channels which is part of the much lower stock performance compared to euro-bikes....

All that power at the extreme end of the rev range is great if you're racing or doing 20 to 30 track days a year but give me a pre 2019 'Blade every time, they blitz the later bike in low to mid range.

I need to send the ecu in for my 2021 cbr1000rr, badly. Waiting for modifications next year. What’s the streetability like on a bike that’s dyno tuned? I’ve remote tuned several times, but never had an ecu flash based on a day I tune. Obviously, you fix the throttle valve percentage throughout all gears and the entire rev range, but is what you do in fifth gear transferable to the rest of the gears? I bought my bike in august, and I already have 4500 miles on it. I rode it everywhere, so getting the low rpm range smoothed out and keeping low to mid range torque are important to me.

Why are Hondas numbers always so much less than the other brands, I’d love to set one up for 9/10th but they can’t hang no matter what you do to them. The triple r would be great except for the price tag

The EU standar map without flash makes 175hp to the rear. Wonder why you struggle to get your flash as good as unflashed EU?

Personally, just because I don’t race officially and simply do street riding on my own, I would never do a 520 chain conversion, especially with an aluminum sprocket. It’s just way too short of a lifespan for me and the gains just aren’t big enough to justify it.

This is the SC77 between 2017-2019, not the SC82, which is 2022+.

No they do it to pass laws and emisions easily and afordable.The sp2 makes an aditional 14 hp with same exact internal components except it has a headwork from the factory

I live over in Texas and I just bout my CBR1000RR 2023 I wanna ride it over so you can ECU flash it personally than shipping it in. Also just bought a full titanium akravopic exhaust system with carbon fiber stacks,I'd like to pair that with a dyno tune but I'm not too sure what else to touch up on just bought my bike a month ago it has 432 miles on it

As a mechanic I wouldn't opt in to turn on that continuous spray on DECEL feature not great, creating combustion while the engine is trying to engine brake ?

Helps with rideability, too much engine brake sucks, and it makes throttle application on the street very jerky. What he did is right.

Keep in mind every dyno reads different. I can 100% promise you NO STOCK MOTOR 08 CBR isn't making 170 anything on pump gas on my dyno.

every dyno reads differently. Your bike may make 184 on your dyno but 165 on Chris Moores dyno. I had my 07 gsxr 1000 on 2 different dynos with the same exact setup and it made 31 more wheel horsepower from one dyno to the other dyno. Same tune, everything

Does the decel fuel cut mess with the adjustable engine braking? I know it works to reduce engine braking by leaving the throttles open slightly with the fuel cut.

you really don't, just remove the flapper and servo, de cat, 02 delete, pair mod and remove air restrictors in inlets. the headers and exhaust don't provide much if any gains. obviously the mailbox and cat are 2x heavier than moded

Awesome content, but why are you shouting at the camera? Bike volume is ok, and then need to reduce the volume due to you shouting. Would be interestingto see mor in-depth video on the tuning tools used, I used to dyno and tune bikes when most still had carburetors. Power commander was in its first iteration and honda just came out with efi.

*let’s add the “non sp2 cbr1000” guys. The SP2 1000RR makes way more power. Plus we have had a std 1000RR few make 185 but we know you east coast fellas always add an inch.. jk 😂
