Great video as always. Funny story: I was keeping tabs on this game early on, using "Maxpreps". Somebody had hacked their way in and had Springfield up 28-0 with only 6 minutes into the game. They were Saying "23 yard pass for TD"...."St Ed fumble on own 11 yard line", etc. They had me fooled for a little while. Somebody caught them and had everything squared up before halftime.

🤣🤣 too funny. Sad that wasn't the case. Also-- My buddy is a legit Hoban fan and was sick for the Hoban Massillon game... so he's watching the game from home and we're all texting him that Hoban has an ineligible player and Massillon is going to advance through regardless lol had him going for a minute.

Even though Eds didnt get the first down after declining to punt, it sent a message that theyre here to win, & will not hold anything back.

Yes! It did lead to Springfields TD though. But Ed's was able to lock in anyways. Im always editing in hindsight 😂 easy for me to question the call. But it proved to set the tone yes

@JimTrussell's NE Ohio Sports Channel No, I agreed with you & Coach Lombardo even said he should have punted. But one thing I noticed about him that I really like is when they make it to the title game he's not afraid to let it all hang out. He goes for the jugular & isn't afraid of second-guessing. Like Dan Fouts said in The Water Boy, "Last game of the year Brent, can't hold anything back now!"

Eds would give any of those teams a fight. Multiple 4 star recruits, several people on full rides to Michigan, osu, etc, over half the team has D1 offers. They were ranked top 10 in the country at one point.

Great win to team we gave them only loss Massillon tigers 12-2 team this year. From city of champions Massillon Home of my alma mater that proud to call my team Massillon Washington high class of 82: Alum. Michael Mitchell USS new jersey bb62 most power packed ship crew member in gorgeous long beach ca I was deck ape from first division 1984-86 Great work you all Hope in 2023 we get to play you all again. I am glad you guys knocked off our biggest rival next to Moeller Akron archbishop hoban Like they beat us. Congrats to your coach and team

you probs didnt go to the game, but my alma mater...Dalton, got whooped by ML. I hadnt been to the stadium since it was redone, but that facility is A1...what a campus. Shoutout to lil ole Dalton for a great season and making it there...

Unfortunately we were only able to go to the night games. Hopefully next year we can visit all seven games. Was really hoping Dalton could get it done but Marion local wins every year
