As fellow 890 rider like Spurge, I like his reference to the bike though selfishly I’d have liked to hear more about the comparison. I’m glad they think this way, though. In any case, I’m excited that Revzilla picked up on the bike, so more attention to the accessories will be given (especially the daytime running lights)

As a Ducati owner with a bike that has the QS, you gotta bang it up the gears, but it's smooth if your moving along not slow, takes a little time to get used to it. Great way getting into the ADV market from Ducati now they can start fine tuning it to riders feedback.

I think it's just too heavy for real offroad ADV (even though I'm a big Ducati fan)... but IMO the T7 and 890 ADV R are ALSO too heavy... which is why I built my TAT bike from a 690/701 base machine. Expensive approach ($19k including $13k for the bike) but the result is well worth it IMO. Great video BTW...

Feels like the “middleweight” ADV & general ADV designations in relation to size r flawed as mfgs release more, may want to rethink categorization by $ range instead. Bike is compared in same sentence to 890R & 1250 GS. It’s like the Tenere guys arguing against KTM 890R ADV in reviews. 890R has better suspension, more power, better trail & street, but it’s $4K more. It’s more do you have the $ or not, if not T7 wins value
