@@dmdq_ the 35EB and 5.0 in the F-150 are almost identical performance wise. The EB can make more torq and tow a lit more. But you have to get into tunes. But the 3.5HO is nowhere the same as a standard EB. That's what some are eluding to in these comments. The HO doesn't share very many parts.

Yup that’s what I get, when a I drive it “lightly” and low throttle this can easily glide into 16mpg in around city, and hwy can get around 23mpg. I also put on some 34s nitro ridge grapplers and (ford performance) 2.5” level kit. However to actually enjoy driving the truck it sucks a lot of gas and ruins your mpg, I go through phases of “save the gas” and times of “smiles per gallon”.

Both are good. 5.0 has an advantage of being in a lighter body so it’s quicker.

I’ve had both. The ford just feels more powerful and tows noticeably better. And it’s more fun to drive.

2.7 isn’t even close to a new 5.0 lol, in MotorTrends testing the 5.0 in a loaded King Ranch long bed 4X4 beat a base stripper 2.7 in the 1/4 mile by 2/10. The 5.0 was 500 pounds heavier per the curb weight specs. At the same weight the 5.0 would be 8/10 to a second faster. That’s like 2-3 school busses. No 2.7 is hanging with the V8 in this scenario shown

An old friend of mine he had one fully stock 2018 it topped 110 on the dash but we got tracked it on the mobile we had on the phones and it topped 120. Had a small race he kept up all the way to 120, I hit 130 it was over. So maybe it tops off more then wat it says
