2022 GMC Yukon Denali vs Lincoln Navigator Reserve: Which Is The BEST Luxury SUV!?

👋 In todays comparison we take a look at the GMC Yukon Denali and the Lincoln Navigator Reserve! Both of these are very luxurious SUV's in the size segment and each offer something slightly different! So which one should you pick and why!?!?
Starting off with the GMC Yukon Denali, this spec is roughly $85K with all the features from the large infotainment system which offers Google maps and all that entails to the heads up display, heated rear seats, the large wheels, air ride suspension and the big 6.2L V8 engine! This is truly a luxury SUV that rides and drives great for the size and weight! The exterior has a lot of chrome and works well with the redwood exterior color! Obviously you can spec both vehicles in the color of your choice! The interior materials are very premium feeling with the leather, wood trim and more chrome! Everything has a nice feel and the layout is very easy to go through! The second and third row are spacious enough for full size adults and with the captains chairs in the second row, definitely gives you more space to relax and with the large screens in the headrests, you can watch your favorite shows while going down the road! The space behind the third row when they are up is adequate and it's very convenient to have the rear glass open as well as the hands free option which is nice!
The Lincoln Navigator Reserve had an MSRP right around $90K, so very similar and both of these brands do have lower trims levels so the base MSRP will be much lower. But spec for spec, the Lincoln had some nice features as well! The infotainment screen wasn't as large, but still offered the 360 camera system and a digital gauge cluster! Not as much information to go through but it had the basics. The exterior has a nice look with the black and chrome, even the running boards were body colored which was a nice touch! The rear glass opens as well, but doesn't have the hands free option. This Navigator was an 8 seater, vs 7 in the Yukon, so that could be more convenient if you need that extra seat. This Lincoln Navigator had the heads up display, larger wheels, a smooth suspension and a more power and smaller engine! Towing is very healthy for this engine as well, so you could load up this model and towing whatever you need! It drives very nice, comfortable and quiet as you would expect from a Lincoln. The second row is heated and spacious even with the three seats, and the third row is just as comfortable for full size adults.
Overall it comes down to which brand you like better and what features you can or can't live without. The GMC Yukon Denali definitely has more tech and options vs the Lincoln, but the Lincoln has a smaller more fuel efficient engine (not by much) and some nicer materials. The GMC Yukon Denali and the Lincoln Navigator Reserve are large SUV's with tons of space and luxury features!

Got the 2023 Navigator after cross shopping the Yukon Denali, Escalade and Wagoneer. The updated Navigator has a better 13" screen, better rear lights, better seats, well designed interior and the materials feel very premium. The outside is not as flashy as the Escalade/Yukon. It has the same engine as the F-150 Raptor which is quite powerful and sounds really good. Overall the Lincoln is the better choice IMO, but its close.

FYI u forgot to mention that the third row on the GMC has buttons to fold to get out. Also hand is on the top when opening the door. Running boards have LED lights from end to end. With a HUGE GMC logo that shows on the ground at night coming from the side mirrors. FYI

Regarding both vehicles, the reviewer failed to mention the paddle shifters on the Lincoln, which make it much easier to manually downshift in the rough stuff or snow. Its ludicrous to have to push a button on the dash to get the same effect. The Lincoln steering is more precise, but the Yukon tracks as good or better on the highway. I felt needing to use my elbows more to steer the Lincoln in tracking in a lane. The exterior body build seems to be better in the Yukon, but its very close. At this writing, Yukons are going for between $5k-1$10k over sticker, and the Lincolns are being discounted from MSRP.

Sure paddles are nice to have, but not really needed. Both have a way to do it and let's face it, no one buying these is going to remember they even have paddles. It's just not a vehicle to really need them. As far as steering that will differ from person to person, so that's just an opinion. I didn't feel that way at all. Depends on the dealer and location you live as well.

We have been starting to do that recently! Between these two, I don't have much experience in the Lincoln, but I had the Denali for awhile and loved it! The Lincoln was also nice too!

Not exactly sure what you mean with 2H, that’s the default setting to drive on the pavement and that’s the towing I found on it.

The Denali was the worst vehicle we have ever owned. Was in the shop 15 times in the first 12 months. Lincoln has been amazing

This one is a 2021 Navigator or older. The 2022 headlights and taillights were updated. The headlights in the 2022 is shaped like a 90 degree angle, and the taillights is more thin and appealing now! Great review though!

It feels crazy to say, but GMC just murdered Lincoln in *design* and *technology* _and_ for less money. The Yukon actually looks better to me from every angle. I prefer the Yukon’s interior with Google over Ford’s horrid sync system and the intuitiveness of the Yukon is nearly unmatched.

Lincoln Navigator competition is the Cadillac Escalade... GMC Yukon/Tahoe competition is the Ford Expedition

Yeah it's kind on the line to be honest. Tahoe is the direct comp to the Expedition. Yukon is more in between the Tahoe and Escalde.

Lincoln seems more premium to me. Yukon feels to me like a little bit of an upgraded chevy but the lincoln feels like it was built with premium comfort in mind.

Dear followers!! Don't let the beautiful pictures confuse you . Anyone who buys a new car from GENERAL Motors the chance you threw your money into the trash is very large. In this company there is no customer service, the company's management does not care at all, if you have a problem or a malfunction, you can only pray to God there is a chance that the help will come faster.
