I bought a 22 Tuscan SEL convenience Hybrid in July and love it. Both Cars are very similar with different stying. Only complaint of my Tuscan is the plastic mold / trim on the outside next to windows. Wish was more of a glossy material not plastic. For 2023 hope they add auto parking and auto side mirrors and auto windows for the back. Continue to improve the gas Mileage. Overall great car.

The 22’ Rogue with the 1.5 Vc-Turbo it has quite a punch. It’s very smooth, quiet, stereo is pretty darn decent for a base stereo, and seat/position is very comfy.

Just bought a Rogue. Wow. Such a nice vehicle. Tried them all and for us this was the best of everything we wanted. Also been a lot of issues with Hyundai engines and poor service. Rogue all the way. Fit, finish and overall look for us is the Rogue. We found the Tucson very plastic feeling of this makes sense.

I drove both- test drove Nissan, Honda, Subaru, Lexus, Toyota & Hyundai comparable SUVs. There is a 2022 Tucson Limited AWD in my driveway- hands down the best small SUV! (I did also test a Kona) You get so much more w/ the Hyundai & nobody beats their warranty. I had my last Hyundai for 10 1/2 years and spent NOTHING on it other than routine maintenance.

Great review! 6 months ago, I decided it was time to get an SUV and trade my 2019 Nissan Altima SV. It's a good car, but there were small issues occurring and I needed something easier to get in and out of (was too low to ground for the Type1 hitch receiver and bike racks). I took 6 months to take my time, evaluate small SUV's and Sub SUV's. The only SUV's I did not drive was from Toyota, good luck finding new ones. After all the research I did and testing, it came down to the Rogue SV with the really nice turbo 3 cylinder vs Tucson SEL with convenience package. Wow, this was a tough decision. In the end I chose the Tucson. The Rogue was definitely easier over the bumps, was comfortable, the new CVT that Nissan put into the 23's is really nice. The new turbo 3 had greatly surprised me with the power it had, but it was a new engine and am hesitant to say how reliable it will be in the long run. In the end, it came down to price comparison, the Tucson for similar price offered more value to me than the U.S. version of the Rogue SV at similar price range. I would have had to purchase a Rogue SV with premium package to match what the Tucson had and that would have been more expensive than the Tucson. I liked the bit more sporty or as some say harsher feel of the Tucson suspension. It felt more planted to me. I did not at all care for the electronic shifter in the Rogue and wish Nissan kept the standard shifter in it like the Altima. Plus, The Rogue felt more truck like, the hood was larger truck like, where as the Tucson like the Compass and Escape were more sleek and bit more sporty. So in the end, I chose the Tucson since it fit my needs a bit more. Got a great end of month deal a few weeks ago on the Tucson. OH and by the way, the hitch receivers are super easy to install on a Tucson for a DIYer.

I have always been and will be a Hyundai buyer. The Tucson has more value plus a lot better warranty.

I prefer the Nissan Rogue with the CVT !!! I'm use to driving a Nissan with a CVT so I can go back to a regular feel

Just got the 2022 Rogue with the 1.5T. Nissan nailed it with this one.

I just test drove 2022 Awd Rogue SV Premium vs Tucson 2022 Preferred. Tucson have tons of feature with optional trends included. But after test driving it, i didnt feel like driving big car when i drove Tucson, felt more like driving Nissan Quashqai variant types. Also in Tucson I could feel every small bumps on road. Where as in Rogue it didn’t feel that way. Can you please tell me did u feel the bumps in Tucson like i felt ?

I'd get the Rogue my 2015 is still going strong one more payment she all mine last Tuesday was almost in bad wreck when the traffic light was broken had to skid avoid hitting a guy driving Silverado on driver side than later on saw in the newspaper they had accident same area almost had the accident the driver suffered injuries they ran into light pole which they could had been me dodged the bullet I was safe, my car was fine and so the driver of the truck.

Just a little off on the warranty for the road. The Rogue has a 3-year 36,000 mile bumper-to-bumper warranty and a five-year 60,000 Mi powertrain warranty. I think you knew that but just got a little tongue-tied when saying it.

The attractiveness of a car is important to me, but the pro pilot assist and the overall evaluation that I see here, means that I’ll go with the Nissan. However, I think, for a young person the value and sportiness would be better.

Funny viewpoint on this one: wife got the 22 rogue sel and I got the 23 Tuscon premium. Hands down everyone in the family thinks the Tuscon is the "nicer" ride.

I chose 2023 Rogue over Tucson and after 6 months I have no regrets. Love my Rogue!

yea finding a place that will sell their cars at MSRP is like finding hen's teeth... most around here add 10-15% markup. on top of that the rouge only has a 3 cylinder engine far less than what is said here

No contest, the Nissan, exterior is better, more striking and bold.! But then, I am a Nissan guy.

I'd buy the rogue cause its more value for money. The Tucson is nice but they really cut corners in the materials on the dash to engine parts to other technical stuff. The Tucson looks good but its all glittery plastic. Hyundai is also very unreliable and they cheat on the gas mileage. The rogue on the other hand has always been my favorite cause its reliable, cheap, good mpg, and a better overall package!!

Your comparing a more premium packaged rogue than the base tucson. Not a "fair fight" should be rogue sv vs. Tucson nline. Tucson has all digitial infotainment and a/c control with digital cluster and ADAS and leather trim. I know, because I have that rogue and wife has the Nline. There is NO compsrison as far as interior tech and look. Rogue is like EVERY other compact suv out there. Of course, as we all know, Most Of you freelance car review influencers are affiliates for the higher rated cars in your videos. I'm not saying I dont like my rogue. But you are no means comparing apples to apples here the Nline is a much more sophisticated and technologically advanced car plus it looks cooler and drives much smoother. If you wanted to be fair you would have compared the Rogue S to the that Tucson Se. Again, not a fair comparison. Even within the tucdon lineup, the Nline and Limited trims stand out as almost a completely different car than the trim you are reviewing.
