I totally agree Rebel GT over the Tremor. I love the shifter with paddle shifters. For that price it should be the 392 hemi though! 😁

As always, a great informative video Ben. I’ve been tweeking my 2020 Longhorn with caliper covers, Mopar Ram air intake and other items. About the only thing I’d love to add is the Mopar exhaust. After watching several videos including yours, I’ve just about decided to add the exhaust to my truck. There’s just something about a Ram that has a little more tone to it than factory. Keep up the great informative videos you constantly put out over your channel. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

I bought my 21 Rebel in January. 4 corner air, HUD, full panoramic moon roof, automatic releasing tailgate, 12 inch display and yes, the RAM boxes. Paid less then the 22 you reviewed. Love it.

Even though this is an improved rebel that’s badass it should not be called a GT because the engines performance is the same as any standard 5.7L hemi. GT cars compared to their standard sports versions usually have 50hp more with more torque minimum. This should just be a rebel sports package and that’s it. Nothing more especially for the extra money IMO. This is not a poor mans TRX at $72k. Might as well just get the base model TRX for that money. Cheers for the review tho Ben and Merry Xmas!

I am getting ready to order my rebel next week because I do not want to be forced into a six-cylinder even though it’s turbo and has more horsepower it’s still not an eight cylinder sound but I like the paddle shifters in wish they were more responsive

Hydro Blue is just such a sick color. Goes so well with the badassery of the Rebel GT. I would certainly forgo unnecessary options like the air suspension, sunroof, and a few others but add the 360 cam pkg for $600. That would get you into the lowest $60s. This thing sounds so good to be a stock truck!

Haha saw the title and I’m sitting here in my 2023 ram Rebel. I was like damn ouch! Poor mans TRX. 👀 $73,000 after interest I’m over 100k lol I’d have to say we buy trucks for the needs we have. TRX is cool no doubt but I needed a truck that could Haul more weight. Going from my 2020 1500 to this 2023 Rebel with Etorque I’m able to pull 12,750lbs now as apposed to 8,400 in my 2020. This truck is so nice! Lots of new technology for me to understand lol I’m like a kid in a candy shop 😂 anyway love the rebel it’s pretty sweet I chose to keep my Ram Boxes because as a contractor you cannot beat the benefits of ram boxes

Merry Christmas everyone lol. ❄⛄🎄. Wow neato nice looking. I'm a fan of Rebels, I like them. Many ppl know I have the 2020 Ram Rebel. My suggestion for ppl who want to own a Rebel is, just wait. Wait until the END of the year. For example when my 2020 Rebel came out it was about 80 G's here in Canada. So instead of buying it when it first came out I just...WAITED lol. I waited until the end of 2020. Right when they were trying to make space on the lot for all their 2021's the new line up coming in. That is when all the prices start to go down. **If you actually pay attention and look there is a - small little window - of space there when they drop in price about 10 G's at the very end of the year there is always a big sell off because again they are trying to make space on the lot for the next years inventory. This is the time to buy! So the all in sticker price at the beginning of 2020 was $71 000. I checked the prices how they were fluxuating all year round going up and down and many not budging staying the same. I noticed many were at the $58 000 - $59 000 price range. With the quad cabs being even cheaper. However I wanted the crew cab. I was happy with the drop in price of about $10 000. So I trolled the Auto Trader and Car Guru sites here in Canada every...single...day. Finally I found one that had everything I wanted including the red interior and Crystal Metallic Grey about 5 hrs away near Toronto. I am in Ottawa. I found it @ $59 000 BEFORE Tax. So literally a saving's of just over 10G's from the $71 000 BEFORE Tax start of 2020 sticker price at the start of the year. I drove to Barrie and bought it for a all in tax included price of $67 000 with 0km's brand new. That's how you save $13 000 on a brand new truck. Just WAIT until the end of the year they always have TONSSSSSS of inventory just sitting on the lot. Now ALMOST in 2022 there are TONS of dealerships that still have brand new 2020 Rebels sitting on their lots just accumulating dust lol. I don't know why but now they seem to be even more expensive than they used to be. I can sell mine NOW which has 20 000km's for $59 000-$60 000. So they retain their value quite well. So yeah that's my suggestion, just wait for that LITTLE WINDOW of space at the very end of the year right when the dealerships get their new inventory in. That's when they lower prices for a short time to liquidate lol. Otherwise if you're even smarter than me, just go and buy directly from the dealership auctions. You can literally go to a big warehouse where the dealers go and bid on inventory. That is where the dealers pick up for ROCK BOTTOM PRICES. They buy low and sell high. You can buy at the same price they do. That's the way to get a Rebel for $20 000 less than what you would pay on a lot. You/we are all paying a premium to buy it rightttt off the lot which is stupid and needless but true.

On the backup display, makes ng the lines stay straight might be for lining up with a trailer? Just a guess. Don't really know either...

If I can't never own a ram trx I would definitely get the GT Rebel instead and I'm a fan of the Rebel but it has to be all black with the night edition

@benhardy. Great review as always. The one thing I would add to the g/t package option as whole would be to add in the LED cargo light along with the heads up display. Which is an option I struggled with adding to it when building certain options on the Rebel. Adding the LED cargo light/camera makes if feel a little more premium when your paying the kind of money and looks a lot better then the standard cargo light. What do you think?

The GT is superior to TRX if you're serious about building a off road overland truck but the TRX with its large powerful engine and aggressive looks does make an impressive mall crawler.

Auto 4 clutch transfer case no buenu 😮. Go with the 4lo 4hi and get the chain driven transfer case. Much better off road.

As someone who has owned 4 Ram's in the past 2 years, all 5th or 4.5 HD gens, Ram needs a refresh for 2023 MY. They're still the best but GM "might" be on par for their redesigned non-LTD 22 MY's.
