My 2022 Silverado 3500 HD LT Midnight Edition has arrived! This is my first Modification on this truck. The Chrome Z71 Badge had to go. I swap out the chrome emblem for a blacked out one. Nylon fishing line takes that off real fast without even heating. Clean off the residual 3M glue with gasoline on a rag, then use a detailer spray to clean area before installing new emblems. I've done this on numerous Harley Davidson emblems and vehicles.

Hey Myk. You can also use WD40 or Goo Gone or any kind of mineral spirits to loosen up the adhesive residue.

I don't know, I'm hesitant to use any chemicals as it has potential to damage the clear coat and paint

Gotta get some limo tints on that beauty for it to be truly blacked out! Those factory tinted windows throw off the entire look of the truck.

I have had it tinted, my state has a limit of 45% on the front windows 👎

@@Myksgarage Bummer. It’s also illegal in my state but the police in my county and surrounding ones refuse to enforce window tint laws because they don’t think it’s fair that they can have them but we can’t.

Soooo nice . Love me a Chevy . I loved the 2500 Custom so I'm glad you got this . Any opinions on a Ram 3500 with a Cummins ? I'm looking at getting a base / tradesman model with a 8ft box .

I've never had a Ram, and haven't looked at them, so can't really comment on them, but they have some nice looking trucks.
