Good review. I use it for trail riding with my family. Same things I thought about enclosed trailer, simple, reliable, never got stuck once.

Have a 2020 same base model. Those back seats are what separates it from others like the Honda Pioneer 4 that has seats meant for little kids. And you're right it's overbuilt. Even the front wheel liners are steel when others use plastic. Its not the fastest, prettiest, or most loaded with bells and whistles but it's comfortable and built tough.

I have a 2020 teryx4 with 1740 miles. Zero issues whatsoever. I change all fluids every year (except coolant) and don't be an idiot and they're awesome. I will be doing a belt inspection soon and thats not going to be a fun job. Lots to pull off. The thing about Kawasaki is they don't do radical model updates on alot of their machines. Just gradual improvements. So they can keep the cost down. Its not a perfect machine. It's hot and noisy. But it's not near as fragile as a Polaris.
