1 year has passed and owning this 2023 Acura Integra A-Spec 6 speed manual transmission has been a journey
I cannot stress to you how this car taught me how to be a better driver, learn more about the cars, and hands down the best daily driver that I have currently owned. It is not perfect, but this 2023 Acura Integra is a well rounded machine that still embraces the manual transmission for those that want to enjoy the ride

do you mind sharing what price you got it at? We just returned from an Acura dealership in IL and got a solid out the door price, but still a bit more than I wanted to pay

@@itsehsanh I ended up paying about 40,500 for the out the door price and that doesn’t include any additional fees outside of just taxes and registration.

Thank you for sharing this, its very much appreciated. I brought my dad with me and he got it down to $38,000 out the door with taxes and registration, but we still didn't move on it. The dealership showed their numbers and it said they would lose a little bit but we wanted to get it down just a bit more haha@@echos9396

I've had my blue 2024 manual for a month and one week now. I love it, like you said, it's a great daily. The manual transmition is the best I've driven. It isn't super fast, but it feels peppy and definetly faster than my previous car (2014 LX-S Accord Coupe CVT.)

Mine will be in January and I’ve got the black on red with the 6 speed as well. I might trade in next year for something with awd but this has been a very fun experience. Handles like a dream. Engine is a lot of fun. Hatch is very practical. A car that will be very much appreciated later down the road. Thanks for your input and review!

@@foureyeddriver thank you brother and right now it’s a toss up between a TLX, RC350 and GR Corolla. All very different cars haha but I want something fun I can daily and will give me the grip I’m looking for all year around here in Canada. TLX Cz I’m very much n Acura fan boy, RC Cz I’m single now and to have a coupe again would be fun, and the GR Corolla cz it’s absolutely bonkers and the only one on my list that comes with a manual.

@DriveVersity if I were you, it would be down between the RC and the GR Corolla. Definitely test drive those two badass cars, and you'll definitely know

@@foureyeddriver appreciate the advice my man! Definitely feeling the GR but I fear the RC might win me over just because it’s more comfortable and I miss having a coupe. The TLX just feels like the more responsible decision, but at the same time I fear I may get bored easily. I will definitely do my due diligence and test them all out properly.

I recently got an Integra with the microsuede seating and I am curious how durable that material is. Has it held up the same as when you first got it?

Very good question. It's holding up well even after a year with it. I vacuum clean it once a month or every other month but it still feels great for long distance driving and the commute.

My 1 year Anniversary will be on October 28th. Same exact car only with the liquid carbon color.

@@foureyeddriver. Yeah we drove from Seattle to Santa Barbara California. Car did great. Gas mileage was insane.

No problem with the oil dilution yet. Currently close to 30,000 miles and still going strong

lol I use 89 I got this car as a daily , now if it were one of the foreigns I understand but for the teggyyyy 93333 is wild

Yeah it might sound crazy but I get the best performance. Especially now when I have the KTuner installed and planning more more tuning, it makes a big difference.

@@PegahSye it's always crazy prices in North Jersey. That's why I go on the GSP to get gas. Slightly below the average prices of gas thanks to the traffic 😁

The more I see reviews of the Si the more I want the Integra, but my problem is do I do sensible and get the ASpec or over the top and get the Type-S.

Tough choice. Definitely test drive both of them and see which one you like the best. If it wasn't for the price, I would have bought the Type S. However, the A-Spec is a great car!

In my opinion. The Type S is nice. But nor for the asking price. If they knocked 8k-10k down then it would be worth it. Honestly go with 2023 or 2024 A Spec Tech

You keep saying $850 a month for the Integra Type S, but what was the actual total drive out price on that Integra Type S? I’m curious what they’re going for (in total price, not months) in whatever area you are in.

That price for the Type S that I built was $56,000 USD. I added the copper "19 wheels for the extra $4k. Majority is selling at MSRP for $52,000

@@foureyeddriver ok, I’m just assuming you didn’t put any money towards the type s except the trade in value of the a-spec. 52k is high for this car, let alone 56k. Might as well buy a TLX type s at that price.

@EricG311 I actually traded in my A-Spec and they allocated it for $27k. That's where the monthly payment came in. I agree though. Might as well get the TLX Type S

The phone connectivity is a Samsung thing (I'm a Samsung guy too). Apparently Honda loves Apple. IPhone users don't have any issues.

Iphone user here - i’ve owned my integra for a month and had to reset the infotainment system because it wasn’t connecting just a week ago. I tried forgetting the device and turning it on/off and it wouldn’t work until i reset it.

@@foureyeddriver ROTFL... Well you have the tech package on yours so you have the basics like navigation. You might be out of luck with connecting your messaging apps or 3rd party navigation apps like WAZE.

I am at 15mos, my issues with Android have subsided after I downloaded updates on Acura in infotainment center

Congrats on your 15 months! I agree that after the updates have been resolved, the sync with the infotainment system has subsided, for now. Just happened to me last month after my last update 😁

You can. You'll save money. However there's a tradeoff. 91 for the Integra is used for better fuel economy, optimal ECU operations, and overall better performance. That's why I always use fuel that is recommended
