I feel compelled to make the same comment I did with Gene's Best of the Year awards. Most (although not all) YT a/v reviewers and HT showcase features predominantly very expensive and high end gear. Most of us a/v enthusiasts unfortunately do not have the room or budget to support $50k - $100k+ rooms (all in a/v equipment, acoustics and install). It would really be nice to review and showcase the best in class for the $10k - $15k set-up and room. Furthermore, you need to remember we have to pay for all our gear! Thanks though for allowing us to only dream what is out there. 🤑

@@therealshanelee Like the OP said it's easy to call the top dollar gear "The Best". Unfortunately, peasants like me have to dig thru dumpsters, used market and low priced marketers for our gear. And, Shane, I'm happy for you that you can afford the best of the best without sweating it. Must be nice to have an unlimited income. Just what does one do for a living to make an income like that? I haven't tried the Denon A1H. However, living with the Denon 6500, I was unable to get the best out of any of my high-end speakers (Sonus Faber Sonetto's/ KEF ls50s) thankfully I came across the HDA units of Arcam. Just wondering if the 1AH makes that much of a difference.

I would use your 6500 as a pre/pro to a good two channel amp for your speakers. I use an Anthem MCA225 v2 that sounds great!

for the price of the denon avr , the wattage should be 200 at 4ohms 🤦🏻🤦🏻🤦🏻

Couldn't imagine spending 5k for a 10 inch sub. I ordered a 4000ULF dual 18's from JTR for that price. Not sure the 10 inch could accidentally crack the concrete around me, like the JTR threatened to do, when I accidentally turned it up all the way.

Okay, cool, I was getting nervous since you guys haven’t mentioned much about the Denon A1H, for I bought that when it released, since I was nervous it would become hard to find, due to supply snags, that existed out in the world, and I have enjoyed using it, I am still trying to find the time to listen to a good Atmos mix, that uses all or most of the 9.2.6 Klipsch channels of audio that I have in my basemeant… I am always looking for suggestions….

Hey Shane, intrigued by your comment on blending the tv and centre speaker idea 🤔🤔🤔i hsve a sony A90J and sony dh-790 AVR. How do i go about that? Just send audio to both and then sync them manually or is there another way? Many thanks, Andy
