Speaking of new speakers quick question rythmik or rel subwoofers to complement my polk reserve speakers I went with for imax and price @polkfan has 4 rythmik and I love the sound but will gladly go with whatever you recommend oh yeah I officially just became an entry level patreon

Rythmik is a better bang for your buck if your comparing same priced subs. The higher end Rels are better built.

Yay, ANOTHER poor Atmos mix and rushed movie from money hungry studios. I’m sure this mid level disc will be $100 in Canada to make up for what the theatres didn’t earn

Their customer service was terrible and they were incredibly rude. A dreadful company and I switched to Plex and I have never looked back. I am actually glad they closed down due to their terrible customer service and truly unpleasant staff.

Man, I saw the trailers and thought this Godzilla was gonna be dumb, but I checked it out at the theater and had a blast with it. If your expecting Godzilla Minus One, yeah you might be disappointed. But if your a Godzilla fan, you know there is a place in the world for both campy AND serious films.

After movie after movie in Dolby Atmos... I'm starting to believe Dolby Atmos is really OVER RATED... And you would think more movies would be in IMAX... Since the Theaters think Imax is better than 3-D... Overall, I'm not liking the lack of TECHNOLOGY THESE DAYS... EXSPECALY WHEN IT COMES TO WATCHING 😢 THE MOVIES THE WAY I WANT TO ENJOY THEM... NO NEW 3-D, NO IMAX, AND AT THIS POINT 5.1 IS JUST AS GOOD AS A WEAK VERSION OF DOLBY ATMOS...

That isn't the problem, it's how the studios are doing it now. Warner is lately becoming like Disney was in coming out with poor disc releases. Go back to the first few releases of Atmos on Blu-ray in 2014 and 2015, some of those movies sound utterly fantastic

Thanks for this one, Shane! Definitely looking forward to checking this out on physical media next month. I'm sure the audio mix will be bombastic, but I don't think anything can compare to the insanity of the 2+ hours sonic - and bass - assault of Godzilla: King of the Monsters.

It’s a bummer that the Atmos track is a step down from the previous releases but I really enjoyed this movie! It was pretty much exactly what I wanted to see. It was just pure monster mayhem. They continued to destroy the crap out of the surface world and I like that they keep doing it in new locations around the world. This isn’t a thought provoking or critical thinking movie in any way (nor was it meant to be). It’s just unrealistically large monsters destroying everything in their path for two hours. Just grab some 🍿 turn your brain off and sit back and enjoy the ride!

@@liutungwei5160 I can’t compare until I get G X K on 4k Bluray. I believe we still have about a month before the physical 4K Bluray is released and I don’t have a Kaleidoscape. I enjoyed what I heard in the theater but obviously I can’t compare that to my home setup. I’m excited to check it out though!

I've watched the 4K stream on my 65" TV and it looked like a cinematic trailer for a video game. The CGI does not hold up on a smaller screen. This is my least favorite movie inside the Monsterverse.
