I actually thought the 2020 (pre-facelifted) BMW X4 lineup looked pretty attractive. For whatever reason I always found smaller coupe SUVs like the X4 or the GLC Coupe to be better looking since I personally think the proportions work better on a smaller vehicle unlike their larger counterparts, the X6 and GLE Coupe. Unfortunately, the X4 M Comp's design is hindered by BMW's current obsession with putting weirdly shaped gloss black trim pieces in strange locations on the exterior. It's not terrible in the front but in the rear, I have no idea what BMW was thinking. xD

One of thenonly people who review this car who hits thennail on the head. The main reason i purschased this car over a fpace r, glc63, tesla x plaid or a rsq8, is then fact that it felt so much tighter, so much more buttoned down and cohesive. Every input isnmean with an instantaneous and linear reaction. This feeling is impossible to describe but once you drove that, imlossible to go back to anything else, thenaston martin suv(not 707) felt like a sloppy camry in comparison. Also amazing that this guy understands it's a competition model and the people who buy it are obviously looking for a firm resposive ride amd thebwhole "stiff" argument goes out the window. This man gets it.

I don’t usually comment on these but my opinion is the X1 / 3 / 5 are all more practical for 4-5 people but look around when you drive… in my city I see tons of SUV’s driven by 1 person, on the weekends its 2. Do you ever see anyone in the back seat? No. Is the hatch ever filled with luggage? Maybe once or twice per year. If you have kids enjoy the practicality of it, when they are older you won’t need it very often. This coupe SAV though is very practical 95% of the time and you get a true sports car / utility vehicle. You have that aerodynamic look not the rectangle kit car 🤣

The Comp package adds 30hp, so 503hp ($7k)

I know that the Competition have more than 473hp and in my opinion, it looks way better than the X3M!

I skipped to the part where I new the Sketch Monkey would say the back end was ugly, just to confirm my thoughts on it. It’s a waste of a cool paint color and wheels.

Taillights are not good. They can be better. I understand they are trying to fill in the space but still designers need to do better.

Looking at the front of these newer BMWs always riminds me of a pig.

Fully agree. Styling of the X4 is plain ugly at the rear. Love the X3, even if they ruined the rear lights with the last facelift.

x4 is one of the few coupe suv that can get away with the looks, x6 and gle however is a big nope, it is like you in a massive turtle.
