Long day of photo editing out of the way, I decide to sit down and watch a few videos on the ole tube. Bam, YT recommends some camera tier list video, I sharpen my pitchfork, preparing to charge into battle, I shall defend my subjective inane gear choices till the end of the world [or until the next big thing comes to market...whichever]. I grit my teeth, press play, and the stage is set. I prepare for the oncoming storm, to battle.... Oh no... wait..... Fair list of personal opinions on gear....damn....Well, I suppose there's always next time. Lol Nice video, I was taking bets with one of my photographer buddies as to what camera would end up in S before we had seen the video. Well done, I shall dig my CoolPix out of the box it's lived in and put it on display now.

I mean beside some Canon and Sony cameras, the takes were pretty up in the sky. Leica SL-2 even thought I don't like it and it feels stupid, if you start using it, it feels like they threw a sensor at a Nikon F3, it's just a solid brick that won't die on you, if you like Leica experience but you don't like coupled image focusing SL2 is just infinitely better. D is a diservice, or at least a diservice compared to the rankings of the rest of the options. For the most cameras that there was actually experience behind the judging, the video was interesting and fun, but spots like X-Pro 3, I want it, slap it in A tier, I just looked at my X-Pro and I was like "I don't care if people like you or hate you, but your whole experience is to make people rumble about you". Yeah to some extend it was uninteresting.

Agree with everything but you definitely underestimate the Z9 I’ve shot with that camera and even if the sensors are made by Sony the chips and the processor is not. I am a Sony shooter with my A1 but I’m definitely going to say surprisingly that Z9 is better than my A1. And I couldn’t believe how much features it has. I thought it was trash at first two until I actually put it in my hand so you definitely gotta try it out. By the way A7S3 is S tier come on mannnnn!!!

I think most of these are spot on, EXCEPT the GH6. You know me, I have the Pocket 4K, GH5, and just bought the GH6 but - Best IBIS ever - 5.7K ProRes Internal (sure small sensor but still great) - 4k 120 - No overheating issues (*cough cough* Canon R6) Other than that one, I agree with the list. GH6 is a sold B, bordering on A camera (despite not much better autofocus).

The video is all personal opinion and the GH6 is great it’s just not great for me. My R6’s have never overheated on me and the GH6 most likely doesn’t overheat cause it’s a M43 sensor and doesn’t create much heat.

I got the GH6 and a vazen 28mm anamorphic lens to go with it. If its ibis for anamorphic lenses works it would make a camera + lens combo The vazen 28mm anamorphic lens is an expensive bad boy lens you could buy 2 gh6s for the price of that lens

S5 is cool, I just can’t list every modern camera cause that video would be insanely long

I gotta disagree with the R5 & R6 tier.. I own both and yes both are great. But the R5 is noticeably better for me. More video options (no I'm not counting 8k). Still quality & dynamic range improvements. It's just.. better.. Yes the R6 is a lil better in low light. That being said.. I love both my R5 & R6. For my real estate work.. I pretty much exclusively use the R6.. but that's because I want smaller file sizes mostly. And I don't need the 45mp for that job. If Komodo put the RF mount on Komodo.. I'd buy a RED Komodo.

Hey brother , Really loved your content and the knowledge you have towards the cameras I bought one Fujifilm Xt3 2 years back just before covid came and had to sell to it to support my family, I really wanna be a photographer again And it’s being really hard to get back on feet again.
