The CTA employee playing Santa must be an urban transit junky in order to endure riding on that open sleigh portion while cruising along the Blue and Red line portions in the medians of the expressways!! I wonder, in order for it to be safer (with Santa on the Sleigh) does a northbound Brown Line holiday train use the old way of crossing from Belmont onto the Ravenswood Branch, rather than the new flyover?

The opening of the flyover saw the removal of the old crossover tracks for the Brown Line. I believe Santa rides the flyover all the way through.
