Greetings from Germany 🇩🇪 hi Jeremy love your videos especially this one. I play Slaanesh from the beginning and I enjoy the ne Battletome very much. You should give Godseekers a try, it’s pretty good if you lean into movement shenanigans.

Hey, great video with useful insight. Couple of sad things: Hubris was FAq'ed - limit on targetting only if he remains within 3". Also Syl Esske only buffs melle attacks not shooting. Still great though.

Thanks Des! The Lord Hubris I should have known that it couldnt be that cheeky. On Syll’eske, that is a little disappointing but just means All out Attack in the shooting phase the million CP pretenders gets.

@@MKDietz nope! I only got phantasmagoria twice off in my 8 games. With all of the screening, it was really hard for my opponents to get into melee range of the lord of hubris with anything of consequence. He really needs to be around for a turn or two.

Another nice video, Jeremy. I really like the new Slaanesh book, despite it's (many) flaws. If I were feeling a bit more motivated to paint their models, I'd be building 2k with Glutos as a core!

Slickblade Seekers are the best euphoric killers option in the book. Dear Jeremy, In one game vs. my buddy with a reinforced squig herd unit, I had a Slickblade Seekers unit fight twice with a keeper of seekers and got to 36 depravity turn 1. :)

@@TheBarakDur the squig herd was his screen. He allied them into his big waagh list. It was his second game against Slaanesh and hadn’t seen that trick yet.

That is a big wound pool screen, yeah that and stabbas are getting popular as screens. I find that Sploresplatta fanatics make great cheap screens in non gitz lists with the pregame move and good way to protect your small heroes from shooting early in the game.

As someone who is getting into the competitive AOS scene. Is there a website where you can find upcoming GTs? As someone who is coming from MTG, it was simple looking for events in the local area or region.

I'm so eager to get hedonites on the table. Did you find that you fart killers euphoric killers wasn't effective depravity generator even with big hitters like Sigvald or Glutos? Seems you could get 36 in the first turn if you got the right charges with siggy.

The issue with them is a) dice, b) screens and c) we aren’t really playing in a lot of armies with units that have a massive wound pool typically making hard to gain massive chunk of Depravity. Perhaps the exception being SBGL? Its going to be a learning experience as time goes on.

Phantasmagoria got faq, people say its nerfed. They said after faq basically it works how you described it, but only in your turn. Because for core rules 2 events cant happen at the same time. So in your turn your retreat when opponent pile in, in opponent turn he pile in and after you retreat!

I assumed it played that way due how Sequencing works with whos turn it was. I guess for me I took it more as a clarification.

At the moment I am waiting for the GHB update to see how I land with KO. Its on the docket for points changes if I was a betting man.

you're wrong about the Grand Strategy Jeremy, the easiest (and imo the best) is Selfish Desire (aka just don't summon) - easiest GS in the game btw.

Ahah, yes maybe you are right but I didnt want to close that option for me in case but to be fair you are probably right.

If your goal is not summoning then Glutton for Depravity is still objectively better because it's the same outcome of "I'm going to have a lot of depravity I'm not spending" but it doesn't lock you out of an army mechanic if you need it/have an excess of depravity. Glutton is just always better.

@@jthomas7453 it's only true if you assume you get 36+DP every game, but you won't. Id argue matchups you generate this much DP (36+18) when its relevant are the easiest anyways and the ones you don't get much of DP, it's comfortable to just start the game with 3VP. We can of course agree to disagree, its all good.

I may be wrong, but you mention keeping the seekers out of the 18" Sylleske bubble. As I count your list it seems you need to keep it all within the bubble. Did you catch that Sylleske's bubble is "other" daemon units. So they don't count towards the units?

Typically the Masque starts outside but in games she does, I want to keep the Seekers out and away.

I think Sylleske count herself like a demon unit. Basically i think he got: painbringers , 2 twinsouls, lord hubris as mortals and syllaske, epitome , 2 fiends as demons

Sylkeske doesn’t count towards the total. It states “other” daemon units

Wait if he put inside bubble : 2 fiends, seekers, contorted epitome for demons and 2 twinsouls, painbringers, hubris and archers. Is it 4 vs 5 units ? Am I wrong? 🤔

De: Depravity, GW doesn't know what to do with Slaanesh in AOS. Every time they try something totally new, and every time it's badly designed in some new and surprising way (which doesn't mean they aren't sometimes very powerful, though usually in a stupid way).

I thought the Temptation dice were super cool and immersive mechanic but man they feel super lack luster for depravity. Euphoric killer probably should have been in both turns not just yours. I dont know, seems really annoyingly hard to generate Depravity.

The dice feel like one of those things that sounds super cool but in reality mostly just slows stuff down. And Euphoric Killers feels to me like something they tacked on once they realized the dice alone weren't a good mechanic, when really instead they ought to have just gone back to the drawing board and come up with a single generation mechanic that worked well.

@@assistantref5084 if the Dice was D3+3 depravity and the MW was D3+each time that unit accepted into temptation. Eupheric should have been both player turns imo.
