James, that's another good review. I remember last year you pointed out guys on the D standing still like they did not know where to go. I think the D looks much cleaner already. I'm cautiously optimistic. I say beat UT with good clean play and then build on it.

Why is the offensive staff not identifying these issues and addressing them? It seems we have little margin for success on offense which is why we are struggling.

It seems like some sort of A.I. generated computer software is calling plays on offense. It just doesn't have a human element to it with no "feel" for the game

I lean towards keeping the touchdowns in, even if they contribute little to the film analysis. I can rationalize not caring, but it feels wrong.

Is Florida going to develop a passing attack? It us going to be hard to do that with the season in progress. Napier doesn't seem to have any desire to change it, which is the main reason I don't enjoy watching this team.

Why do we not sit in the middle of the field on the second level crossing routes? It's so wide open. Billy refuses to throw into that area very much. He likes to flood one side of the field or the other. Now he needs to counter that concept, especially when we see Cover 4. How can we justify paying Billy millions of dollars to then only feature pass concepts that can easily be picked apart by an analyst on KZfaq, no offense. Imagine what Kirby Smart and Will Muschamp think when they turn on the tape. They must laugh out loud. Our run game is designed nicely but the pass game is poo poo.

This helps me understand why we did not have very many explosive plays, McNeese basically just played to keep everything in front and we took what they gave us.

It's game 2 for what feels like a brand new team. Not overly worried. If you see flaws, the coaches certainly do. Anyway. UT game will show us what kind of team this is, for better or worse.

On top of the other things you noted on the 2-point try, Tre got flagged for the pick. Yeah that'll happen sometimes with that kind of route, but it's just another reason to not run it in that situation, or at least not with a freshman WR.

at 23:30 or so you're talking all about how that 3rd & 5 is a one-read play, but if you watch closely that was a double screen that could've gone to the top of the screen as well. If anything, this shows Mertz is OK pre-snap but not great at adjusting based on post-snap looks or noticing the 2 LB's that back off into coverage

Vol Fan - came to see this breakdown as looking at the numbers and TN lackluster game last week had me wondering about this matchup - based on this breakdown the Gator offense will find some tough sledding vs the Vols D who seem to play in the backfield this year - 7.5 is not enough of a spread in my unprofessional opinion- Give me VOLS by 21
