I paid $321 for mine and all they did was a drain and fill cause I checked the plugs and only ones that were dirt was the full plug and drain

you pull out the fill plug then the drain plug, measure what comes out and add back what the manufacturer recommends to fill, only one place for it to leak, drain plug, install new gasket, no brainer, all the stuff he's doing isn't necessary for fluid change.

I had couple of those outer case with the same mark when I replaced them I didn’t see any more leaks, your should be good.

I don’t have a lift but want to install a transmission cooler. Can I do VSA maintenance mode and just drive down the road by house instead?

Hey man- love your videos👍 I just did a drain and fill on my 9 speed pilot- 3.75 qts came out so i put 3.75 back in.. now im nervous that i may have overfilled it. It seems to shift smoother tho. Do you think I need to open the side plug and let some out? Thanks?

You should never go off of what came out as it may be incorrect for whatever reason. That being said, you definitely didn't over fill it. You should drive the vehicle so it shifts through the gears then while it's running, pull the check plug and see if fluid comes out. If fluid comes out your good. If fluid doesn't come out, you need to fill it until it starts seeping out. 👌 The fluid should be checked with the engine running and the transmission fluid temp around 100-115 degrees I believe.

I drove around last night and all day today and it was great.. This afternoon it started smelling like burning rubber bad!! I checked and there's no leak from the plug.. Smelled like it was coming from the air intake.. Did I just destroy my trans?? Please advise- should I drive it to a Honda dealer?

Question: on the top of the trans, there is manufacturers plate with model information. Next to that plate is a large drain type plug. Is that plug where new trans oil is filled???? Is there any way to check levels from that plug? Thanks

That's the fill plug. Fluid has to be checked on the front of the trans there is a check plug. Car needs to be warmed to temp then pull the check plug with the car off, fluid should just trickle out of the check plug hole
