Why did you skip the first rest stop? Just asking from a strategy stand point. I rode this ride too and was under geared, and carrying a lot of extra weight. I missed the 3rd lap cut off time.

The rest stop is only 18ish miles into the event. At that point I didn't need to stop for anything. Had my fuel and fluids on board. Thanks for watching! If you make it to the end of the 1st lap I do stop, and then again at the aid station on the 2nd lap. Then my frame broke and the race was over.
