I'm so pissed we don't get this in the U.S. , Mazda is giving us the CX-90 WITHOUT the rear seats and calling it the CX-70 -which everyone thought would be the CX-60.

They should get rid of the cx 5 and bring the cx 60 I think that’s their plan but they aren’t saying it

Agreed. Very happy with the sound when I boot my CX60. It's a clean crisp smooth noise but near silent inside when revs are low.

It would be great to get a comment on the ride quality of the Evolve version vs the higher grades, which seem to be on the harsh side? Although there's no consensus about this.

I know they won't do it, but would love to see a wicked up version of that motor with a manual box and RWD in a Mazda6. And maybe it doesn't sound as good in the metal but I didn't hate the sound at all. Love a straight 6.

Nobody will buy it unfortunately. There is plenty of demand for such a car in the youtube comments but in the real world there is no demand. There is a reason why bmw doesn’t offer the 3 series with a manual anymore.

This type of drag is not fair. When you tested the PHEV the outside temperature was 10°C lower ! And we know turbocharged engines are more sensible to outside temp.

Had 4 mazda cars over the years the last a Mazda 6 sport wagon in 2022 ... The wagon is gone traded now nice but clunky looking a million dollars until you start driving some ks and the rough edges turn up on a car been around for ten years.. sorry for what I've experienced below most competition.

I didn’t get it. So much hype about inline 6 and what we have? Almost identical power output as previous turbo engine. My Mazda 6 turbo 2021 can do 0-100 under 7sec. I expected 5sec from a new engine. Yes, I know cx-60 is heavier but still…. The engine sound become slightly better though

In USA they have the 340hp version CX-90 and it's not slower than a X5 xDrive40i which is a smaller car. The difference between the Mazda6 2.5T and this Cx-60 is around 400kg, what did you expect ?

New inline 6 (both diesel and petrol) are made for low fuel consumption and low emissions. Not power. Mazda didn't advertise new CX-60/90 range as super powerful BMW beater.

This is a family SUV not a Sports car, people who buy this are after luggage space and decent room for their family, not a car to go drag racing. Not everything is about numbers and 0-100 times. Besides this would still beat a SV6 if you ever decide to drag one at the lights.

@@russell3436 I think it's reasonable for a 3.3L turbo six in 2023 to make 250kw minimum otherwise what's the point? This is a supposedly premium vehicle that is significantly slower than the vehicles it's supposed to compete against from the Germans

Because it’s tune from factory to have just enough power for reliability and longevity. Tuning an engine to make a lot of unnecessary power will shorter the lifespan of the engine it’s not really that hard to understand.
