amazing to see how much better d1 tennis is getting year by year......nowadays kids don't miss on the forehand side....and basically kill everything that doesn't come back with decent length and pace...incredible......

Amazing how Quinn wins every single point when he plays deep, moves in and goes to the net. And, conversely, how he tends to lose points whenever his balls are just a little short. They are obviously very very strong and talented players, but it’s always amazing how small differences and tactics make a huge difference. Good lesson for all of us! Anyway, congrats guys - so nice to watch 👍

Not much of a backhand from Fomba, but that forehand is legit. Huge power, placement, and seem to always be on balance (at least from the highlights). The difference is so stark, why would you ever hit it there? This is the first I've seen him, but great speed, serve, and touch too. Like, if he ever developed a backhand, he would probably do pretty well at the professional level.

Be tough to develop a real backhand this late. Could try and get a more wicked backhand slice I guess to set up that forehand. Kudos for making it so far with no backhand.

Having played tennis in college, it really was not the worst thing in the world. Ideally, you would like a full match. But, to get in a singles and doubles match in addition to traveling and multiple matches in invitational tournaments, you get used to it.

Speeds matches up. Playing let’s and no ad is a great thing for college tennis. Also they are playing full 3rd sets too. Love the format. College tennis live is better than watching the pros live. Win a point and scream. The team aspect is next level.

The guy in the black doesn't do enough with balls that he has to move to under abit pressure. He's only good when he sets his feet otherwise he's on extreme defense. Needs to be more balanced and do more on defense, not just tap and slice. Great when he's agressive.

No add scoring? Why does America try to limit its tennis capabilities to make matches go faster that literally no one tunes into other than people close to the teams????
@freakytea2815
@freakytea2815 8 ай бұрын
It's because scheduling becomes very difficult when teams could be delayed hours by one long match, especially when one of the teams is traveling. It doesn't have anything to do with viewers. It's why local junior tournaments do the same thing sometimes, especially if there are rain delays. It makes the scheduling at least somewhat predictable.
