You need to loctite every nut and bolt on this bicycle. If not, your rear sprocket bolts will come out.

At first thought my dad's phatmoto was awesome. In the end my China engine 2t bicycles ended up being far better. Truth is you could build 2 really nice motorized bikes for the cost of this one, and they would be faster and cheaper to maintain.

My advice be careful of running up on the side streets cars really don't see you when pulling out..also dogs and cats and people so I'd stay to the streets..great video btw I'm thinking about one I'm a much smaller guy so I'd have to test it in person before I'd buy..be good out there 👍☺

Problems I’ve had with phatmotos. Cranks bend Crank bolt repeatedly unscrews itself Frame snapped right jn front of chain stay. One fork Stanton snapped from hitting slight pothole(bad crash) Stock Sprocket bolts snapped Magnet flung off of flywheel And snapped coil mount off the case Some jerk stole my first one that I had reinforcements welded on where it snapped, plus I had a brand new engine and nice forks

COME ON IM 320 LBS NO WAY WILL 49 CC WORK ! but if u want to know how to make an E Bike for some 1 my LBs i built 1 om a 29 inch Mongoose 1500w 52v 21 amp hour that will go 35 mph for 17 miles beating it as fast as u can with out a recharge it cost me 1500 dollars so what do i do if i want to go farther then that? GAS POWER or add a 515 dollar batter battery prices are nuts but if u want to know more about the bike i built feel free to message me ! wow wow wow guys this isnt expectable there is 2 much money in this work of art u need to make this thing come to a point of exciting an u have not done that an i think u feel the same way so i ask u to try a 60 dollar up grade but study the videos i send u an take in consideration where the power curve starts an when it runs out as u set this up. an then add better carb if u impressed with this please just humor me watch this video! an after if i have your attention then watch a video on how to adjust the springs inside the torque converter u will be adding now u know what i know an ask you please to do so we all can see what this set up can really do so look on e bay when u ready to buy 1 ull be big time impressed ill post video under this an ty

I had one. It was a mediocre thing, always fixing it. You're better off building a motorized bike from scratch, for the price you pay for a phatmoto.

I've been building and riding all types of motorized bikes. I've also built many of my own and I've delt with many other motorized bike suppliers. In my opinion this one company that goes with 3 different names has been the worst I've delt with. There are so many flaws with the phatmoto that if you are looking at it because its price build your own 4 stroke with tank in frame. You will have a better quality motorized bike. When something needs replacing or fixed you will have less trouble contacting someone with a friendlier disposition to help. If higher quality is what you want I found 2 other manufacturers with some really nice bikes and friendly customer service. Jay Lenno showed one he got. As for me I build my own and I'll never again order anything from gasbike or king motorized bikes (same company address and customer service persons). As for me I'm having fun building to my tastes with full electrical with turn and break signals. For the same as a phatmoto rover.
