@@stubbingtonmarigold3032 but less Torque than the GSX-8S, yes, it's cheaper, but the GSX has standard Quickshifter which is optional for the Hornet. Though I agree that the GSX-8S is much heavier than the Hornet, with only 14L tank.

Suzuki will also come with the instant start like all there bikes. Ive owned a Honda, Yamaha, and Suzuki all were super reliable but Suzuki with the instant start was insane.

I don't understand why Yamaha didn't add these following in their recent update? •Upside Down Fork •Quickshifter(as standard) •Slipper clutch •Traction control •Riding modes And I don't understand as well why Suzuki didn't add these? •Bluetooth connectivity •User defined Riding mode Yamaha have better TFT display but for just Bluetooth connectivity, Suzuki has a simple version but a lots of tech(except Cruise control which both MT-07 and Hornet doesn't have as well).

The real question is, would people buy the MT-07 for 2k more ? Doubt so. If you get more, you always have to pay more, and apparently potential buyers prefer to have less for less, MT-07 became so popular because it's cheap and fun. If you want tech, you can buy the RS/Tuono 660.

As a mt 07 rider i can tell you we dont care for any of those gadgets. Its a fun punchy affordable city bike. If you want more just pay more for more premium bike

With 12.8:1 compression the gsx is going to make a lot more power with mods. I think 90 whp isn't unattainable for the gsx with full Bolt ons and a good tune

I dont think it will beat the MT-07. the torque delivery at low RPM is just too insane. combined with the low weight it feels amazing. but the suzuki will still be a great allrounder

Yeah, the MT-07 might get off the line a bit quicker due to the lighter weight. However, once the 8S gets into its max horsepower and torque band, it's game over for the MT-07. Not to mention the fact that the MT-07 is only 18 kgs lighter than the 8s ain't saying much.

No. It’s the same price as a mt-09... not even close... and much more expensive than mt-07 and the weight difference will eat up that 14 hp advantage

Damn it! I cannot choose right one! Mt is lacking riding modes and traction control, gsx is scaring me as does have ride by wire, and FEW people already said, they had few times slight delay in gas reaction! And morotcycle is new, what after 4 - 6 years? Awwwwwww

Mt 07 is more reliable it has proven itself with time and man that CP2 Parallel Twin engine of Yamaha is legendary that's why everyone is copying it . These new engines from Suzuki and Honda still have a long way to be proven as good as Yamaha crossplane 🤔

The suzuki is too heavy… By weight it enters the segment of naked four-cylinder motorcycles And obviously it is far from being a tetracylindrical. But in technology it is superior to the Yamaha 👌🏼

I had an 2018 MT-07 and an 2020 MT-09, just got an GSX-8S and so far, it's like they took all all the tech from the MT-09 and throw it on the MT-07. I love it! Has even more down low grunt than the MT-07, it gonna be my main bike for awhile. Also I got it in blue and I love the look of it.

You made the wrong video. Should be gsx-8s vs mt-09... why you ask ? Because Suzuki Australia messed up and actually posted the price 14,190 Aus = 9538 USD. It’s the same price as the MUCH, MUCH BETTER MT-09 ..... it’s D.O.A. At that price.

Bruh.. gsx-8s only 776cc, while mt-09 is 890cc. suzuki gsx-8s plays in the 700cc-800cc class. Same class with yamaha mt-07, honda cb750 hornet, and benelli 752s. While the yamaha mt-09 plays in the 850cc-950cc class agains kawasaki z900, ducati monster 950, mv agusta brutale 800, and ktm 890 duke R.

The hornet is only making more power above 9,000rpms I think the gsx will be an all around better bike. Probably similar characteristics to the cp2 but with more power

I dont know, it seems to me like tha basic bike is much better for yamaha, a bit less power and torque but nuch less weight and better mileage. It's like suzuki compensates with tech quickshifter, ride by wire, radial breaks etc etc but it becomes more expensive. "Look we got all of this stuff, buy ours, it's more expensive but it's worth it". Nah i just want a bike thats good cheap and reliable. Yamaha is better.

I don't undersatnd why the suzuki need 12.8:1 of compression ratio for this bike, the new honda has more HP with less cc. and less compression ratio? Ymaha and honda gonna win this because they bikes need regular fuel, meanwhile the suzuki needs premiun fuel. Yamaha only needs to do what they did with the MT 09, and gives to the MT 07 more cc and some new features, and once again they would be the king of this segment.

It gets better economy than yamaha I believe ....it has bigger throttle bodies as well . and I also think this suzuki is really choked by euro five plus. This bike is basically euro 6 ready. So I think It can be a 90hp bike fairly easy. And the weight is pretty much a non issue on the street. Truth is this bike kills the mto7 and for not much more money

@@josephjumawid8473 almost all manufacturers are now using Crossplane Twin. Yamaha put a single balancer in it, Honda replaced the DOHC with Unicam shaft while Suzuki add one more balancer in it to have make a Dual Cross Balancer. Suzuki has better CP2, I like the MT-07 sound tho
