Got these and instantly regretted it. They're uncomfortable (you sit on a piece of plastic with fans) and make you sit half and inch higher, they're very loud in a high pitched way due to the fan sizes and they honestly don't blow too much air thru.

Great video as always Paul! Out of hundreds of mods that I have done on my Tesla, these ventilated covers are in my top recommended list. They are a bit loud but my roadtrips in the summer are so much more comfortable. I definitely notice the difference.

@Shiva, are they louder than OEM ventilated seats of other cars like BMW/Audi? Also are they still loud in the lowest setting? I have a Volvo and the fans are loud in the highest setting, when set in the lowest settings they are fine

I like these just wish the center wasnt a different material or shade. Looks funny next to the back seat. Side note : love your videos! You are the reason i got the full shade and side compartment mini fridge for my MYLR. Keep up your great content!!

Hi, is there a difference between the driver seat and passenger seat for the power cord location? I meaning if I want to buy two covers, one for driver seat and second for a passenger seat. Does the power cord location is the same or you have two choices one for driver and second to passenger?

I'm hoping that the next gen Y's and 3's have interchangeable seats with current gen. The new gen is supposedly supposed to have stock cooled seats...

Is there a weight limit for the seat covers? My husband would love to have these, but he is a big guy.

how safe are these if the Airbags deploy? The side curtain from the seat seems like they are blocked.

But I saw that the cover was fully covered the seat in video. Can it be dangerous?

@@hakanturgut7554 the back of the cover which closes the side airbag were just tugged into the back plastic part of the car and can become lose with the impact of side seat airbag deployment. The seat cover was not meant to be permanent because you would need to remove in the winter to get heated seat function to work. Thank you for watching! Please subscribe for future contents.🙏😃

This would cover the airbags in the seat. Yes this is just tucked in, and the airbag (when deployed) will push the seat cover out, however it will block airbag for a sub second and there is a chance it may impact the safety.

On mode 3 it sounds like a jet yes. That’s because this thing has 10 fans, and you won’t need that much airflow. Realistically, mode 1 is what you would need 99% of time, and it’s not any louder than the AC itself.

The air is warm because its not the AC being driven into the seat.

That’s how 99% of cars out there do it. Some fords have air conditioned seats. That’s why they are called ventilated seats.

Your factory seat warmer can still be turned on but now the heat has to go through additional layers before it gets to you. So the recommendation is to remove these covers after summer

It’s really embarrassing how tesla doesn’t come with cooling seats in 2023! Toyotas and Kias and almost every other car comes stock, btw suspension also sucks on any tesla.

Tesla is adding ventilated seats with the model 3 highland version. You can be sure that the model Y Juniper version will add the same ventilated seats in that as well.
